I believe all the true experienced climbers have massive respect for the Sherpas. It's the people with money and ego that come to "climb" that think all of us are just there to accommodate them. I always am grateful for the guides, the Sherpas and everyone at base camp because they do it all the time but they still celebrate and encourage each of us like it was their first time too. I've never met a jaded guide or Sherpa. The only time it's a bad experience is when the entitled come along.

I live where the mountains at their highest peak, 13,000 and some change feet. And they are massive. So, I have this mountain before I die. So, I can know what seeing the highest mountain in looks like. Do I want to climb Everest? If I had $98,000 to pay for it. I would, most definitely 👍. Love and peace ☮️ ❤. Namaste 🙏

what they didn't tell us is he died on the way down!! f-ing lunatics. I really don't have a lot of respect for these people cuz I've seen way too many situations where they just lose their minds on the way down. for what? I do respect the Sherpas though. they earn their pay. in an area of the world where economic opportunities are limited, they are grossly underpaid.

Is that actually a near zero-wind moment on the top?! Rare - Very Rare! The path up the Summit Ridge looks like a gentle rewarding stroll for all the previous effort - look at him gulping for air - he's literally dying there. There's still about 91 km of atmosphere left above him, barely any of it breathable. How come we can't see the camera pole - only its shadow? That star - our Sol - looks so damn close. Congratulations and Namaste - you are one tough bugger!! Thanks so much for showing us this! Time to head down...
