I use to ride the maintenance trail to the top of Ski Bowl in the early 90s. There was a guy who rented bikes who was a former world speed sking champion. I didnt rent but shot the bull with him alot, nice guy. I remeber seeing the Grundig course for the first time, I couldnt believe it. I think the pros bitched about it being so covered with big rocks. I think Furtado won carrying her bike across the finish line. Cant remember who won the men's, maybe Ned Overend.
