It took over a decade to get the tline bike park approved due to multiple lawsuits by the USFS and environmental groups. Meadows facing the same issue. Trail crew is heavily restricted and can’t even move a rock or dirt around without prior approval process that takes longer than the 3 months that the bike park is open. Re-align just got approved for a rebuild and they are adding 20 blue features to it. So far they have a couple 12ft tables a a few step downs with one that you can boost pretty deep. I also heard that the bike park manager was stepping down and the replacement is a dude who built up bachelor. Hopefully it gets better. Gondola also got approved so once that is complete the the grand plan says that they could be a park that connects tline and Summit ski area. Plans state that the summit ski area is gonna have a “slope style course.” It’s clear of snow longer and dirt is much better down there.

Wow! I didn't realize there was so much in the planning stages. Yeah, having Summit available could really boost their season.

Even with only 4 runs, they seem pretty long, and that first green one was crazy long! If tickets aren't super expensive, then that would totally be worth it.

Yeah, that green is a beast from a duration standpoint. They seem to be committed to adding new trails pretty quickly, so I'm hopeful that their next season will be even better.

I rode Timberline bike park for the first time yesterday and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I prefer parks with bigger jump lines but nonetheless it was fun. Black runs are more like light enduro fun to train on .. topped off with riding timberline to town

Thanks for posting this video, I found it helpful. Me and a beginner buddy are planning to check it out for the first time this weekend so this was a good heads up preview 👍.

It is very different than what I expected from a bike park experience as far as big features, but a good time is there to be had.

Ha, it was ugly, dramatic... and unwarranted, but painless. :)

I'm only 4 minutes into it and have been trying to catch a glimpse of the bike, haven't seen one yet but the resonance when you shift and pop a few bumps especially in a turn totally reminds me of my Santa Cruz Hightower LT.

Well I'm just guessing, but I saw some mat finish olive drab so I'm thinking it's a Trek Stash 8 even though it sounds a lot like my Hightower LT. It would be cool to do like *MTB Yumyum* does and lean the bike against something then stand back & get a good shot of what you're riding.

Sweet vid bro! Gotta watch out for those soft shoulders with the soil being so loose. I took a spill pushing too hard into a small berm on the rock.

Thanks man! Yeah, I was definitely weighted too far forward. Dirt sandwich lesson learned. Got a little squirrelly on The Rock more than once, but came away clean... this time.

Nice video. Where/how do you mount your camera? Mine never seems to be ideal.
@NeverProMTB

Thanks! That was all shot from a chest harness, with the camera mounted upside down on a j-hook so I could angle it up to compensate for leaning toward the bars. For the most part, I have moved to a chin mount on my full face: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKGoaoSdp5egj6c

Anyone know how the bike park compares to timberline to town trail? Even the blacks look a lot less challenging than timberline to town.
@NeverProMTB

T2T is a lot flowier than what I rode. Brobi-Wan was more difficult, but mostly because of the raw nature of it. There was a couple small drops that I did a crap job of videoing, that were more than what T2T has.

NeverPro MTB thanks! T2T seemed like it had more banks to ride along based off what I’m seeing from the videos here

@@zjcrown12345 I had a chance to preview some of these trails back in November. From what I rode T2T has more gnar than anything the park offers at this time, but let it ride in a couple seasons and hopefully the Black lines get some teeth. If you ride T2T the park should be fun.

I expect it will be. The new flow trail, Re-align and the new black, CDM were both great additions. Looking forward to seeing what else they come up with. TBP will never be a Whistler, but it it can be cool in its own right.

Park is basically just a preview right now. Give it 3 years and it will be WAY better. Pretty lame at the moment.
