Hades really is the perfect storm, not only the trains and manufacturer, but the park as well. I guarantee if that ride was at holiday world it would run much smoother

Haven't ridden it in 3 or 4 years but when I rode it it wasn't rough at all. It was just extremely snappy and forceful and in the dark much of the ride. People often confuse the two. I loved it, it's in my top 5 woodies but I get why people don't like it.

I don't think I would want it too 😄 what a thrill. What would make that ride even better would be lights in that tunnel. A Worm hole kind of effect lol - I mean you'd come out the other side tripping 😨

My. Olympus was actually a go cart park called "big chief's" that eventually added coasters (starting with cyclops.). As they grew and added more coasters, they eventually bought the hotel and water park next door. After that, they expanded the water park area and added an indoor amusement area. (My timeline could be off a little bit. It's been many years lol)

I rode Hades 360 in 2019.. I couldn’t get enough of it. I loved this coaster. Hades 360 and Zeus are the rideable coasters in the park. Loved the go carts there too. We spent 5 days there.

I think Gravity Group coasters are fantastic, intense and aggressive. Park maintenance seems to be an issue with Hades.

i always start with Zeus and then head to Hades 360 afterward. if you are a single rider, they often ask for a single rider and you can skip the vast majority of the line if you luck out lmao

I think the park is to blame for Hades roughness, not Gravity Group. The Voyage, for example, is glass smooth from constant retracking done by the park. However, that could be the benefit of the PTC trains as well. Nonetheless, great video!

Hades 360 definitely is one of those roller coasters that looks better off ride than on ride. Also, I was curious when on the travel vlog on The Sambrooke Adventures you said that something was wrong with your spine and I can see why now. Hope you guys enjoyed your visit!

OMG, a roller coaster that actually made Shawn cry uncle, LOL! Looks like Shawn won a couple of battles, but Hades won the war. In all seriousness, though, it's always a shame when a bad coaster could be great with a little tweaking. I suspect that this park may not have the cash flow it would take to fund an RMC makeover, but I'd love them to prove me wrong!

I'm grateful for the coverage you've given this park, and Hades 360 in particular. I only hope they are able to take the criticism to heart and take steps to improve that ride. I was able to ride it before the inversion, i think, and it was brutal then. Here's hoping they see fit to invest in that ride as a bona fide attraction to the park and resort which are overall really well themed and fun.

They used to have faster / more powerful carts, for some reason they got these junk carts that can't make it up the horse ramp anymore. Hade's 360 is like what "The Beast" at Kings Island used to be, so rough it's nearly unridable. However The Beast has been retracked and it's amazing now, Can't wait for you guys to ride it later in the trip, if you haven't already.

Actually good to see the park looking a bit better than it did a few years ago. When I last went Hades was the smoothest and most re-rideable coaster there! Zeus was quite possible the worst woodie I'd ever ridden and the rest of the coasters were almost as bad! Hopefully they can do to Hades whatever they've done to the other rides to make them rideable! I also rode both versions Hades (with and without inversion) albeit with a PTC train and thought that the inversion neither made it better or worse just different! Perhaps on a future trip you could take a day to explore places like Wisconsin Dells (Branson Missouri is a similar place) as there's all sorts of things to visit (aside from all the water parks and crazy golf there are walkthroughs, dark rides, probably some small coasters, wacky museums) but it's but it's hard to know what's where and what's good.

Wisconsin Dells slogan is the "waterpark capital of the world." Too funny that you two didnt know about the dells before you went. Just went for the coasters. I don't think anyone goes to Wis Dells for the few coasters there... except you two! 😂 I hope you both took some time to check out the downtown area shops, restaurants, and took a tour on the Wisconsin Ducks (amphibious vehicles) there to see the beautiful views and bluffs aling the Wisconsin river. The Dells has so much to offer besides those 5 small coasters. 😂

I think the main issue with Hades 360 is less to do with Gravity Group, and more to do with Mount Olympus' terrible record of maintaining the thing. The ride has been in need of a retrack for seemingly a decade now, and they thought they could just throw Timberliner's on it and fix all the roughness issues it had with the PTC's. Gravity Group's tend to be aggressive coasters, yes. But that unbearably rough is horrific, and only falls on the park. Perfect example is, Voyage at Holiday World, is probably the only ride more insane than Hades 360, and it runs relatively fine (a bit rough in spots), compared to it.

Surprised you Shawn managed to overtake in the go kart as they are usually quite slow ( judging by my experience experience at Fun Spot Orlando ), but still quite fun.

So basically a park with 4 of the same coaster experiences haha. 1 just has a slight variation with an inversion and is larger. That's kind of funny. They definitely need to redo Hades 360 again. But then again, you really going to spend more money on it instead of bringing a new experience? RMC the thing. Then you have a steel coaster that's truly stand out. Great American Scream Machine at SFOG did that to me. Just jackhammered my spine into oblivion. They retracked that though, can't wait to hear your thoughts on that.
