Thanks for the great video chap, trying to find a helmet that can do both open face and full face (sorta) is quite hard without the nobbish modular helmets on highlighter colours, they don’t really suit cruiser riders

Great review lad just bought one as i like open face always have done and wanted like you one like this for the bad weather we have here in Scotland especially the wind up here in Caithness I just returned from States where i lived 20 years and always wore half helmets there , But nearly choke my self here with those on on bad days ..lol So am waiting for the MT to arrive give it a go good job lad as i say thanks very much for your review Pedro Scotland

Hi Alex! Thanks for the review. Do you still use that helmet? If yes, what is your opinion now, is it still functioning well? How about durability of the materials? I like the design of this helmet, but based on the comments and reviews I might choose an other option, probably a bit more expensive.

@pogozoli I still use it mostly as an open face. It is noisy but you should be using ear protection anyway. Riding a bike is bad for your ears the hearing doctor tells me

Hi alex. I wonder how about the durability on a chin part that helmet? It may crash your face if its some emergency happened,its because its a detachable part.. U know what i mean .

It's classified as an open face helmet, the chin section would offer you minimal protection it does stop the flies getting in your teeth 😬

Hi yes my helmet is an XL I think a 58 is really a large outside China

@@alexcoker5816 I usually use Shoei helmets and their Medium fits me perfectly. I live and buy my helmets in Sweden. All European sites and helmet brands I've looked at define 58 as Medium. But if you're a 58 and I'm a 58 I guess I should get an XL as well. :-)

Hi Alex, great review. Do you think the peak would catch the wind on an upright riding position on a Harley or as the peaks vented would it be ok?

It didn't catch the wind when I was out on the test run even when I put my head above my screen. I guess it will depend on your riding position, it is well vented

So, if you put on the screen visor with no sunblock, there is no Extra sunvisor. You have to wear sunglasses Right? And what about the air vent on the front? It looks like it stays always open. I don't see any protection from the air on the inside !

Yes only one visor, the front vent is more for show really the air doesn't gush in as I said it is classed as an open face helmet. You need the same neck/ chin scarf as with any helmet

The wind noise is the worst I have ever had in a helmet. It also rubs your nose on the front guard

My helmet doesn't have the visor adjustment thing for the sun

What adjustment thing are you asking about. The screw on the top where you can mount the gopro let's you move the peak, or there is the small three pointed bit you move to remove the visor. That is for setting up the shutting of the visor

Unless you have an updated version, that's the knob you have to turn to remove the visor. Did you get the instructions in the box

I'm going to use it on my scooter so I can use the gopro mount. It's light enough just might look a bit big, I've had a couple of near misses off roading so it's a must really 👍

Great review Alex. So you normally wear a size large helmet, and found that the extra large MT Streetfighter was the right fit for you. Are the large helmets you have worn full face helmets or just half helmets?

Hi I'm normally a 58 and buy accordingly. The xl fits me perfectly, yes normally a large will do. I've really only worn arai full face in the past but I have several open face helmets for different bikes now

Overpriced helmet..Wind noise is horrible.The material feels cheap.The ventilation is awful.The padding doesnt match with the price tag..The only thing that is good is the design n shape.That is the main selling point of this helmet.If im on long distance ride i wont choose this instead ill go with my Shoei Gt Air 2.Less fatigue

Its a terrible helmet fiddly visor and my nose is crushed up against the front very uncomeatable
