VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION! The TouchDRO technology has now moved on to be 32-bit based. As such, it is probably far wiser to purchase a 32-bit kit from TouchDRO. However, if you still want to go down my old technology route.......... ***YOU NO LONGER NEED TO EMAIL ME TO REQUEST THE TOUCHDRO INFORMATION*** Just open the following link in your browser to download the zip file: 1drv.ms/u/s!AswDmAvuCnLqe6U5FFK263ba2aU The information sources that Adam used to build his bluetooth DRO controller can be found at the following links. 1. Great job on the X axis. Waiting for the installation of the Y axis. Barry Australia

Really enjoying this series and looking forward to adding the same dro units to my own Sieg long base bed. Thank you for showing your process which certainly went well for you.

Thanks mate - I hope it works out well. Cheers Andrew

Nice job. I mounted mine on the front edge of the table so as not to reduce the x-axis travel.

Maybe Andrew could have used thicker and longer aluminium angle, attached the angle to the back of the table and attached the scale to the ends of the angle instead of the table. This would have maintained the original X-axis travel.

Does mounting the X axis scale at the back of the table, limit the travel of the Y axis towards the column?

Hi Brian It does to a certain degree but I never found it an issue. Cheers Andrew

Looking good :-) Let's hope the the y axis runs as smoothly.

Hi Peter. I'm stuggling with the y axis at the moment. I thought it was going too well. Cheers Andrew

@@learningturningmetal A friend of mine fitted something very similar and he found the y axis more problematic. It may even be worth you making a video of where you are up to and asking your followers for suggestions before doing anything irreversible.

No a bad idea but I've already started drilling holes. Fingers crossed!

I'am plan to make same mod on my Bernadro KF10 but on front edge of the table. Can you tell me what is a full depth of this rail? As I can see it is almost aligned with angle cover.

Hi. The dimensions of the aluminium angle are 25mm outside, 23mm inside. The scale just fits neatly into this. The height of the scale reader block is 40mm. The physical length of the scale is 375mm excluding brackets, 395mm including brackets. Hope that helps. Andrew

Ha ha. I thought the y axis would be the easiest, but it's a fairly tight space. A bit of a brain teaser at the moment. Cheers Andrew
