MTA New York City Bus : On-Board 2004 Orion VII Hybrid 6460 On The Q46

Seen here is a ride on-board Orion VII Hybrid 6460 operating on the Q46 to Kew Gardens.
With these being near retirement, I figured that I'd go and fan some of these. This one I caught after failing to catch any of the other new Novas on this night. It was a pretty chill ride, but those axles are done.

As a child I grew up with these so it was extremely hard to see them go. Now these junk LFS Smartbuses 8600 series are repalcing the old classics :(((

This is a hybrid?? My goodness its basically breathing at 0:50🤣I don't know why I'm loving this right now. Mann these sound affects are through the roof! These have got to be the best sounding hybrids in the MTA. I can't believe I've slept on these buses all these years thinking they sounded the same as the other newer 67xx-68xx. Great coverage I hope they keep some in storage for any subway shuttles if needed. Seems like they're too young for retirement anyways...16 years old but seem like they can go until 18-19.
