I did this, and let me tell you, running through the story from the start was a breath of fresh air. From pulling characters you don't already have to having different team builds, it's all really fun. But that being said, I do have to mention, that eventually you will start to feel the same way again. The problem is that there isn't really content in that year-long gap between the Archon Quests to really do, aside from pulling characters.

Agreed. I started a 2nd account firstly to have something to do in the game again, and secondly to use characters I'd never used. I kind of did things the opposite way to Mtashed. On my main account, my main characters at the time were Anemo Traveller, Amber, Lisa and Barbara, and I'd never bothered using characters like Bennett, Xingqiu, Beidou, Xiangling and Fischl. Using those on my 2nd account I soon learned how bloody good they were and what a fool I was for not building them on my main account lol (I have built them now though) It was great fun for a long time, trying new things, being massively overpowered and knowing what I was doing and how to fight, but it isn't fun now. That 2nd account is now AR59, I've got 8 5-star characters on there that I don't have on my main account, the FOMO has set in hard and that account has almost taken on a life of its own because of the completely different set of characters it has. I now feel like I'm 'stuck' maintaining 2 accounts and it kinda sucks lol, especially when numerous events roll around!

@@BadgerOff32 Here here! I know exactly what you mean! I am on my third account at the beginning of it, my main is AR 51 and my second account is AR 50, and I kinda feel the same way. Burnt out and bored every time I open the two accounts. Even logging into the two accounts to claim the primogems in the mail feels like a chore. This third one I know is gonna be exactly the same thing, however, it’s always just so refreshing to begin new. Especially with all the 2023 characters coming up. I know inevitably I will feel the same way for this account, but until Genshin finds a way around this system of a gap year of filler content, then I don’t know really what else to do. It makes me feel stuck.

I think Lisa is underrated as hell. I always thought she was super basic and hated the slow charge time on her skill, but there's actually some interesting mechanics in her auto attacks etc. I went thru the KeqingMains guide and learned a lot of cool stuff, now I'm hoping to build her up in the near future.

Lisa is one of my mains and I absolutely love her. Hitting 100k+ E's is very satisfying. Plus her charged attacks deal like 30k, she's really strong if you put some love into her.

Ok so, tips for making life easier, for anyone who needs it (questionable builds at first glance can actually be busted, even at endgame): 1- this one is better for newer players, electro-charged. Just build all your characters full em, get barbara, give her magic guide and as much em as possible, use lisa and you'll oneshot all the enemies on low wl. For later content you'll have to rely more on good builds to have ec working this well 2- build your anemos. have a full em anemo, and if later on you manage to get a 4p vv with triple em it'll be busted, but in early game your anemo character with random em pieces will be your most powerful character, likely. Anemos are great in any reaction team, but with ec it's the best you can get. 3- DENDRO. I cannot stress this enough-- I'm more partial to hyperbloom, but burgeon also works like a charm (I also feel like bloom itself is a little trickier and lackluster, unless you maybe have nilou or a good cc or freeze). But you can honestly just get barbara (im partial to clam, since if you can put her on field she'll consistently do over 20k per bubble pop--but ofc this is for later game needs), then get a dendro, they dont even need to do dmg, just apply WELL and hold deepwood also helps (if you have nahida its even easier cuz she does a lot of dmg with just em pieces too), and then you need a full em electro or pyro--now this is the tricky part, in terms of 4* kuki is by far the best (especially at c2) for convenience, but I've 9* 12 with lisa hyperbloom, it's possible, just trickier. 4- national lol. this is more for endgame and needs investment, but there are many variations you can choose from and depending on the 4th character the 3 main don't need to be as well built. If you use an anemo catalyst, give them 4p vv and it will be pog. Ofc, you'll want to build your xiangling as well as you can, preferably have a decent xingqiu with sac sword, and have benny burst leveled up. But the thing about this team is that it performs much better than most teams you can make with the same investment. [this ofc does not follow mtash's rules, the only thing I expect him to do is to use dendro reaction teams at least]

before y'all talk down on this new endeavour, let me tell you the starting Genshin experience today is nothing like 2 years ago. there is far more story content and you can unlock inazuma very early on. it is indeed refreshing and quite fun to redo from the start, especially if you are a day 1 or 2020 player. currently working on ar42 account as a veteran 😁

So no characters from previous years Correct? then I have some questions Mtashed. 1. What about using characters for like Klee specifically for Mining or Nahida for Plant searching only just cut back on the grinding factor? You wouldn't need use them for anything but those two specific purposes. ( I would know I do that with Klee.She exists to mine for me.) Again it's only a question? 2. Would you consider putting Candace, Wanderer, or Nahida to a vote, for usage? (The reason for Candace is that if you have at least 1 hero that can implement an elemental infusion that would lock out an entire Team building path, I mean if your okay with that then I guess it's fine as long as your having fun I guess?) 3. If your NOT utilizing ANY unit from 2022 and older what do you intend on doing for Anemo units? ALL of the Anemo units including 4 stars are from Inazuma, Monstadt, and Liyue the only "NEW" Anemo heros are Faruzan, & Wanderer. God knows when another anemo hero will be released, Not having a single Anemo unit for useage other than Traveler will be extremely restrictive on available team comps, this is just something to keep in mind... You may Need to "consider" pulling on at least 1 past Anemo unit, BUT if you truly wish to wait I suppose it's possible to do make do with other team comps just bare in mind options will be more restrictive. Suggestion: IF your going to use Amber I'll pass a couple of suggestions for builds, Either building her one of two ways, Physical normal, or Charged Pyro shots depending on your own gameplay style & what system you play on, or find a way to capitalize off of her Barron Bunnies .I also it's possible to build Kaeya as a Melt Kaeya apparently but err not entirely sure how that one works..I'm assuming a Witch set is involved. Also there is a Method to get to Sumeru through the Chasm. it's wind tunnel room that looks like a massive Spiral leading up with a lake on the bottom floor. Apparently IF your able to climb a certain route you can climb one of the vines straight up to a pond near Garn darva Ville. I started when Kazuha's re-run dropped so I'm still fairly newish? but yeah I just want you to enjoy yourself as a fellow "New Guy" w/b if you'd like.

If you're saving for AlHaitham, I doubt you can wish enough times to gather the necessary amount of starglitter to buy all 5 Intertwined Fates for his Banner... I love seeing the Tash Man actually have something to work towards and be excited about. I did think it was a bad idea when he first mentioned making a new account (as I thought it would be a repeat of Sussy Nana Baka where he just suddenly dropped it forever), but I really like the idea to only use new 4 and 5 stars so that he is forced to use different characters. Would be cool to see some other off-meta 4 stars so we can maybe see how they could be good from 'pro strats' Mtashed :)

I had a account one year ago but I couldn’t continue it on that device. My daughter at the time was 12 so we started an account for her and I just helped her do some of the parts she didn’t like. My daughter still plays it now but she is staying at AR45 since the enemy is getting hard and I wasn’t able to help her get past Dansleif Archon quest in the Chasm. I started a new account not long ago and I didn’t speed run it like my child did. 😂 We do have disagreements about playing genshin and I take a longer time to explore one area before moving on. I had help to get the Summit to dragonspine open it was challenging to do myself. Still haven’t done Liyue Archon quest yet since it’s easy to get side track looking for seelies and I maxed out the Statues and Shrines in monstadt which is a pain.

I would say to add Noelle to the allowed hoster, it will be REALLY hard to get another decent geo character for a LONG while. You might have to lock your trav to geo. (debatable: Xiangling too since she's a starter, but you already have amber)

Oh boy, hyperbloom is Lisa is painful. It's decent enough while her burst is going, if you are doing MC as dendro, but outside her burst you got to keep charging E's or keep running between the seed and the enemy to proc it. Well it should be fun to see Mtashed playing off meta only comps.
