@@roachawk the gacha is cursed, everytime i roll i hope for a 5* weapon because it is more worth than a character, every time i roll i get a character tho, and they perform better than the ones i already leveled, so yea i have all my 14 characters leveled because there weren't many people speaking of focusing on 2 or 3 characters at launch which is when i started playing, so my guaranteed 7 characters are all leveled up to lvl 50-60, the rest 7 characters is what i got from the gacha and they are better than some of the guaranteed characters so i leveled them to 70-80 with all of their weapons also leveled to 60-80. WL is also not a problem since i have good artifacts so the content is pretty easy to deal with at the moment

@@eh3139 you must've been playing for a long time m8, hmm also if you are looking for weapon, you should've just pulling on weapon's banner, but I dunno what did you went through all the way until here, must've been thought, my first account also making me to level them up the same, but until now, mine's messy af, and I literally confused on how to continue, but still doing daily missions and spending resin tho' 😂. After that, I created another account to make a clean play, make a good investment and plans for the excellent gaming experience in the future, and as a good F2P player, ngl running 2 account still pain in the ass, but the result on my new account was quite satisfying depends on how much I love this game... :)

@@mxchiicity Absolutely. Itto can do amazing things even with 3* weapons, whiteiron greatsword is surprisingly strong on Itto. He doesnt need too good of an artifacts at the begining. Just get him defence and bit of crit rate if u can and he is good to go. U might wanna use second geo bucause geo resonance is really strong. Geo traveler is very underrated and I believe it's second best geo battery so energy wont be problem, also their constalation 1 or 2 gives your team +10% crit inside their burst whicg is great. C6 is not hard to get for geo traveler and honestly it's pretty strong. You dont need it but I run them sometimes since I quite enjoy it. If you get Gorou from banner u can use him and he boosts Itto even furthet. I havent yet gotten Gorou myself whicg sucks a little but from pretty small investment I can defionetly say that if u enjoy Itto's playstyle build him. He is awesome. His damage surpassed my decent built childe when he was 20 levels lower ☠️

I’ve raised my Klee to be absolutely broken, but I have almost a full constellation on Fischl and she hits like a truck. Four star characters are definitely good if you raise them properly.

Mtashed: Your main DPS is going to be on the field most of the time. Me: Switches characters all the time, and assign 2-3 roles of healing, crowd control, DPS, elemental reaction and exploring. EDIT: I now have a proper team with a main DPS, support DPS, healer, and support ^^

@@PrinceDolos Well it’s more like they are all sharing roles, I kind of do damage with each characters in their own special way, not necessarily one manning it which makes it harder to focus resources. So I have Barbara for heals and reactions and Qiqi for DPS, heals, and elemental reactions. I have Venti for crowd control, elemental reaction and exploring and Fischl as DPS and elemental reaction.

This is my theory if you pay the game you will not get what you want because first they want to milk you very well, honestly I've been playing it and I didn't need all this new characters that yall talking about, I'm adventure lvl 30 and still using the beginner team I just changed Lisa because she was very weak, you only need to use everything that the game gives you : artifacts they might seem stupid or boring but they are everything, special recipes that gives you 300 in ATK for 300s and etc... Don't be afraid to buy full stock of ingredients I can keep going on this is just to give you an idea. if I had money I will just go buy a snack and enjoy the game more anyway this is just my [OPINION]

The initial tips video was pretty good but after ramming into all the mistakes headfirst at full throttle and then doing the replay you've really come to a point where u are able to, and have, compiled one of the best, if not the best explained general guide for newer players. I really think this will withstand the test of time and bring new players a lot of value as time goes on as long as Mihoyo doesn't do a complete mechanic overhaul. This is really good advice for f2p. I only recently became a subscription player (BP and blessing) due to getting three 5 stars in the past 2/3 weeks and I wanted to use them. The fischl event really helped as well. I also wanted to point out something with artifacts you only lose 10% xp if you use a leveled up artifact so dont be afraid to level up artifacts early, this made it a bit of a struggle until AR40 and found out about the 10% thing.

focus on your 4 characters levels, weapons and artifacts all the way to their maxed level (lvl 90, although maxed artifacts only focus on your dps characters) and then once you have a squad that's topped out and can carry their own and doesn't need to be grinded anymore thats when you start grinding all your other characters, weapons and artifacts

I know this is an old video, but I just have a couple of more tips for new or low level players. First, I recommend pinning on your map the locations of ruin guards, treasure hoarders, and mist agents. Eventually you're gonna be farming the drops of them. And maybe also geovishaps. And second, keep an eye on what materials your favorite characters always need to ascend or to level up their weapons. For example, I once needed to farm violet grass. So, I would put a pin on my map everywhere I found a violet grass. But also use your pins wisely, as you do have a finite amount of them. And another thing you may want to pin on your map are locations of artifacts that respawn in the game or good places to mine for ore. Sometimes, I may just be in a specific area, doing a quest, and I'll see a pin on my map and I'll go out of my way to go get that plant/ore/kill agent. This will save you time in the long run.

@@michaelblue4619 Even if he makes another account with all 4 stars, he will still have the same procedure when it comes to advancing in AR, just like holding on to Resin, and using your resin wisely and not on artifacts until AR45, he teaches you how to play the game without mechanical skill, because it's possible, sure he had Diluc+Wolfs, but even if he had Razor+Aminus, he should be able to do the same thing, maybe a little slower, but you'd do the same thing, you just have to have a team around your carry, with the right elemental reactions, it's not that hard.

11k? and you're not pulling? what are you doing then? There's a pity system, so if you have enough to pull 90 times, you'd definitely get ONE five star character. If you're a f2p, the smartest thing to do is wait for an event banner for a specific character you want.

I just pop this bit here to anyone who is interested. Apparently, Venti is a launch-limited-edition character that players can only get in the first Venti pool. After that, there will be no plan to reintroduce Venti in any future pool. For me, GI is the first ever game that gates a character (that is not released due to some sort of collab event) in launch pool and prevent anyone who happens to miss the launch event (which is literally everyone starting the game after the Venti pool), who does not have $50k to burn into, or who is just unlucky, to permanently miss Venti as a character. I just finished a story quest for Venti (I think) and his ability of creating upwards wind current can literally solve some seemingly impossible puzzles on the map in a few seconds, plus it would make getting some “just a little bit higher” Anemoculus or Geoculus painless. I dont know what to say about it, but tbh, permanently missing characters like this hurts the game badly. I can definitely see why people start to hate this F2PGod account because not everyone get Venti, Diluc and Beidou (all powerful 5*) that early on even after reroll. Combined with F tier drop rate and F tier pity counter, GI is a game that is very hostile to F2P players unless player just enjoys storyline, meme and such and does not care much about Abyss, beating the fastest, or kill a boss fancier etc. Lastly, I know I am very pessimistic, but I dont see mihoyo change the game to be friendlier to F2P at all. If you have any doubt, just look at Honkai Impact 3. We might as well be lucky to see mihoyo even give F2P players chances to roll stuff in the game, instead of gating the wish behind special items that can only be bought through irl money. Next stop? Double resin recharge timer while giving a larger pool? What could go bad? Thanks Mtashed for providing all of those amazing Genshin Impact contents.

here are some tips, 1. Always do 10 pulls 2. Click history and count every weapon/4 star character to see what your pity is. 3. 70 pity is when you enter “soft pity”, raising your chance of getting a five star. also, at soft pity, you can no longer get weapons, so don’t worry abt getting a 5 star weapon! 4. 90 pity is when you’re sure to get a 5 star! you might not get the featured character though, you could get diluc, jean, keqing i think, mona, and other 5 stars. however, if you fail on the 50/50 chance of getting the 5 star, the next time you get a 5 star, (whether it’s 10-90 pulls) you will get the featured character, it’s certain. those are my tips! i hope they helped! also, to make you feel better, i got my first 5 star @ ar30!

I think the issue that many f2p players have is they spread their wishes. I know I did. Twice. And now I have rerolled. For third and fourth time. People do event wish, they do weapon wish, they do standard wish. Bit of everything from here and there. Then use some primogems on resin fill and so on. In the most recent of my rerolls I spend primogems only on event wish. Plus those free standard wishes you get. I got Sucros*2 and Xingqiu*3. Made me realize that primogems are best saved and spent in masses on event wishes. Correct me if I'm wrong but event wishes don't have 4-5* weapons. So you are more likely to get a 4* character. Or a 5* character. I'm in a rush to gather primogems to milk this event wish until it ends and we get different characters. After that I will not spend a single primogem on wish or those free event wishes (intertwined faith). Until we get a banner that has atleast one of characters I use.

I think most points are valid here, but when it comes to resin, no, there is a definite problem for free to play accounts, especially after AR35-40. You said that you spent 50 primogems a day to get stuff up. Most people arent going to do that, and they shouldn't. Primogems are a much too limited resource to spend on resin refills, unless you want to play the game and not get any new characters. Once you clear the world map and things like the adventure book/achievements, your sources for primogems diminish greatly. You dont even get enough for 5 wishes a week

I just started a few days ago…this is giving me Kings Raid and Honkai Impact having a baby. It’s ALOT to take in…man, I hope you have enough videos to guide me thru the basics …cause in the past, I haven’t been good at material management. I have a bad habit of leveling up several characters at once. And it took me a long time to get a strong account. And when I say several, I was managing 12 of 36 Valkyries…character stats,weapons stats, everything this game has…maybe cause it was Honkai Imapct…this is almost like playing that, just a difference of a open world.
