I farm the flower or plants only when i want to level up a character and i do for time to time events and quest. And still have enough mats and play like 1 hour or two

For those farming level 10 friendships, I recommend creating a team you want to get level 10 friendships and do daily commission or domains with them.

Pretty much what I did at the beginning when I had semi built characters who were friendship farming (Worked until I had around 6-8 more characters left since I’m now at 28) also bosses do tend to give more Friendship Exp although I believe its around a 5 increase. Still farming for some characters can work towards the end in grinding Namecards

I log in, do dailies, use up my resin and log out. Total play time is around 15 mins a day. Content creators will obviously try to maximize their Genshin play time, but that's literally how they make money. With a 9to5 job and other responsibilities, my time is too precious to be wasting on farming for a f2p gacha game lol

Well I do every essentials that Envi had listed except the random event 10 times (my potato phone can't handle it) and crystal farming, that's it. It takes like an hour and half I think, and maybe if you have enough time farming artifacts or some local specialties/enemies drops that I need at the moment (for example handguards and amakumo fruits for Raiden)

Correction: Condensed Resin doesn’t necessarily multiply the item drop by 2, but drops items equivalent to 2 runs of the leyline/domain.

Thus, if you got bad luck drop on condense resin, you got bad luck x2 lol. I always find my drop on condensed resin so bad (like, for talent books, I got 4 grey + 4 brown books). However, my normal resin can sometimes drop more than condensed one (eg: 1 gold, 2 grey, 2 brown). So I rarely convert the resin and just spend the normal one unless I play for quick session. Edit: sorry my bad. Been using condense a lot recently and the drop rate actually run twice if you use condense. So my previous statement is incorrect: your good/bad luck doesn't double, you can get good luck and bad luck at the same time (eg: you can get 1 gold, 5 silver and 5 brown for condense and 1 gold, 2 silver, and 2 brown for normal resin)

Idk man, I was farming crystals all the time for a couple of weeks, and it turned into such a job. Then I decided to allow myself to take a break from it, and playing the game became much more fun and enjoyable instantly when I could just go do fun things instead of teleporting to fixed locations, fight off the same nearby mobs, mine crystals, rinse and repeat. I accepted that it’s not my way of playing.

I, for one, like to teleport to a random waypoint and just start.. walking around. I can spend hours just walking around, exploring, opening random chests, guiding Seelie, etc. I don’t even have to be hunting for something. I just explore. And I find way more places and things doing that than I would have if I were looking for something

@@starlightmoone I know the feeling! Doing this occassionally too. I value a good landscape, and Genshin has great atmospheric lighting and creatively designed environments. Could wonder about for hours. I really wish there was some sort of zen mode to the game, when the enemies don't get auto-aggro'ed at your approach. I opened a chest in Liyue yesterday which was sitting in plain sight, but I avoided that place for months because it has a vishap and I'm never in the mood for unnecessary fights while on a stroll. I really like that the current event takes us to places and encourages exploring around, that's the most fun part of the game for me. There are folks who dislike exploration though, must be tough for them.

It would also make for some really amazing pictures, which is also something I occasionally like to do while exploring if I see a pretty landscape or sunset(Inazuman sunsets are absolutely gorgeous). Yeah, that’s something I’m really happy for about, along with the clue system making it so that if I’m stuck, I can explore another place and return the next day with some help to find what I looked past. Yeah, it must kinda suck for them, but at least there’s the clues to make it easier

I don't even farm crystals unless I really need them immediately for a weapon or something, I usually just send my characters on expeditions and I get more than 10 crystals per day just from that which is usually enough. Instead of farming for everything you can usually just buy them or send your characters on expeditions or grow it in your own teapot. If you want junk artifacts to upgrade your good artifacts you can buy several from each city across the map. Need meat or food that can heal you without having to farm for them all the time? Send your characters on expeditions and you can buy them too in mondstadt, liyue and inazuma too I think. You can grow certain things in your teapot, buy mora. exp wits, artifact exp thing to level up your artifacts without having to farm artifacts and even weapon enhancement crystals. To shorten farming time I'll just condense my resin for things I really need immediately.

Man, I always do my dialies and resin stuff in about 20 minutes and the spend the next 2 hours running arround killing random slimes and churls, picking flowers, fishing, gliding and taking screenshots just because it's so fun. Half of my friends spend a lot of time being angry at the game because they want to min-max and copy every whale streamer's build they see on youtube and I'm just here big chillin'

There was a bug with Aloy that made leveling her up 1 mora, I got her to level 90 with 6 mora :) I didn't do it on purpose, I only noticed once mihoyo fixed it and I looked up why there was a fix.

It's important to note that Genshin is still a game with only 1/3 of it's total storyline content released, so I think the lack of an endgame may be intentional here.

@@curtiswong7280 if they base the replayability of the game on the current story progress, player retension is going to drop, im a new player and ive talked to some veterans from where i live and a lot of them dont play the game that much or just outright stop because although there are content thats replayable their not that rewarding, and the fun modes that they have are limited time events which just hurts the game even more to them, and i honestly agree with them. the only thing thats keeping the game from dying are the character releases, and even that prospect is starting to die for me.

If you're F2P or have a lot of time to play Genshin, I do encourage y'all to listen to Envi because the man has spent almost a year refining the art of speeding through Teyvat. Moreover, consider farming Crystalflies too, at least once in a while, because they are necessary for Condensed Resin. I suggest swinging by Dawn Winery, Windrise and Guyun Stone Forest, where the Petra Domain is. If you are also leveling up Ei, Seirai Island is a paradise where you can find quite a few Crystalflies as well!

I recently found out that artifacts sell for quite a lot of Mora despite almost being AR56 lmao. Never had to sell any before since I always had artifacts to level up but lately I've been accumulating so many of these, between chests and world spawns that I hit the 1k limit. Since I'm currently focusing on raising talents and levels I don't have many promising artifacts to level up, not to mention I need all the mora for other upgrades so I started selling them. I'm saying this because with all the artifact spawns in Inazuma (there are A LOT) it's really worth it to go and pick them up, if not for xp then for the mora. Really adds up!

Yep, by maximizing the current artifact farming I can get 70k mora daily by selling artifacts. That's not including the gold you get on some artifact spots, so 80k is likely the total mora I get daily. That is nearly 30 resins worth of mora.

IIRC, the total amt you collect in Mond and Liyue can yield 24k ish on trashing per day, with Inazuma that may easily go past 30k+ mora once exploration is done and routes are established. Seems small but that amount can reach close to 1 mill mora per month for those diligent enough to do it.

I recommend placing a teleport at the crab island. Ever since I did that I never run out of crabs anymore for adeptus temptation. Also run up the falcon coast every day takes like 1-2min and collect all the crabs with Sayu because she doesn't startles them.

A tip for artefact running: Use Kaeya with 2 anemo chars and rosaria if possible kaeya is the fastest runner in the game and also uses less stamina. combined with the speedbuff from anemo and rosaria you are usain bolt level of speed

I used to use Sucrose with Twin Neophrite (20% move speed for 15s when you kill something). There's plenty of birds and other animals along the way and her E is really easy to hit on them. But now with Sayu it might not be worth the hassle anymore

I’m a low spender, so my farming routine is a bit different. Since ganyu rerun is in a month, I need 4.4K more primogems. Here is my farming plan for reference. -blessing of the welkin moon -commissions -spiral abyss (earned about 15 percent of primo income with this) -character story quests or hangouts (I finished all the story quests already, and they give 60 primogems for finishing) -archon quests (already finished) -World quests (Tatara Tales, Lost in the snow, Serai Stormchaser, ect) This is quick and efficient for me, I already have 10.1k primogems with this method.

As an AR57, I don't even have to pinned it on the map. Crab route, crystal core, etc. I already memorized it all. The artifact grind is not worth if you are a welkin + BP user.

It is hell to keep it up when you are managing 3 accounts. I completely ignore doing any of these stuff in the pure f2p account and try to do at least the daily necessities + artifact & crystal farming route for the other 2 accounts on welkin. It's kind of sad when you have farmed so much you basically know where everything is. I used to reach every single artifact locations on the map, but now I don't have the motivation to go to the ones that are not clustered together and only give 1 or 2 spots. Before Inazuma came out, it is actually a pain to reach the 30 cap for the crystals. You have to actually visit the non-daily locations to keep up. So Inazuma amethysts are a welcoming addition.

For commissions, since they give friendship XP, I try to prioritize using characters that aren't maxed out on friendship yet. Completely unnecessary but helps unlock voice lines, lore, and profile cards faster if you're a completionist who's into that.

A little tip for those of you who want to spend resin on leylines with little time; I'd recommend converting your resin to condensed resin and then doing mora leylines (that is if you have nothing else to farm). I'm still only world level 6 and by using condensed resin on mora leylines, i get 120,000 more per leyline. So depending on your world level, you can get more or less!! It's pretty nice seeing big numbers of mora too kekeke

I take a different approach to the daily commissions. I bring my main DPS (Xiao in my case) and then I bring along three characters I would never otherwise play that aren't really leveled or anything. Presently for me that's Noelle, Xinyan and Yanfei with this team I knock out the daily commissions. Before I turn them into the guild I switch Xiao out for another character I never really play/haven't leveled such as Chungyun and THEN I collect from the guild. Why? Because each of those daily commissions yields around 40 Companionship XP. And when you go back to the guild you're awarded another 95 Companionship xp. This allows you to build up character's friendship that much faster. I've only been doing this for about a month but so far I have both Amber and Lisa at friendship 10 with Noelle not far behind at all. The characters I do have leveled are ones I play with for the rest of the content and so will naturally gain friendship xp during their adventures. While it means things may take a little longer during my daily run it does accelerate my characters friendship levels. Plus I kinda like the challenge of taking everything on with only one character and in the event I lose a lot of health I can always top up at a statue. Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone else that may want to up their characters friendship level that much faster.

every type of route is denser in inazuma. both artifacts and monsters. if you don't have a lot of time, teleport to the cat shrine on the 2.1 island, get a bunch behind the shrine in a little cave, then go to the ship and get a truckload more there. tartasuna has a lot of them too, but they're a bit harder to map. i personally like doing monster routes because it's fun and this game otherwise severely lacks daily combat content. there's some mora and some 3* and 4* artifacts to be had, as a bonus. it doesn't have to be just the 600 mora monsters, the 200 mora elites also drop artifacts. there's a LOT, and i mean A LOT of them in inazuma. it's lovely. liyue has a nice amount too but it isn't too dense, there's a lot of walking to do in most of the routes. dragon spine is the second best place after inazuma. used to do artifacts religiously every day too until like 1.6, then i didn't need to anymore and kinda stopped because it's boring. crystals are extra boring so i only do them when i run out of crystals and have less than 2000 large upgrade crystals. i get some on the way in my monster routes and the daily in inazuma so it's been a while since i last purposefully went after crystals. i've been meshing crystal and monster routes together for a while since crystal farm is boring af. i don't do random events 10x. that's literally the most boring thing in the entire game and definitively not essential. it's just a chore.

One thing not mentioned in this video that I do is the 6 leylines daily without submitting them (unless needed) for many reasons: 1) Weeklies (20 for BP rewards). They count even if you don't claim the rewards 2) Materials for ascending characters/weapons 3) Materials for parametric transformer You can do the mobs nearby the leylines as well for some mora and mats too!

If you're not as hardcore of a player, just visit teapot every 3 days. The crops all grow by then, friendship is nearly max, and the coins are nearly max. I find that to be so much more efficient

I login, do commissions, get my resin, either log off after that or get some farming done with those 4-5 condensed resin. If there's quest I feel like doing, I do them. Every Monday I do all my bosses but since it's 160 resin it takes till Tuesday sometimes to do all of the bosses.

that sucks, but let me tell you something: starting a new account is a lot of fun. i was raising one of my slave accounts and i was having actually more fun than in my main account. there's so much "growing" to do, and i was going over quests that i did so long ago, with a new familiarity with the characters, that they felt fresh. if you like the game to the point of tearing up over it, i'd recommend you to just start over. i promise you'll have a good time.

I’d suggest the Liyue world quest farming. The stone ledge where the geo fatui guy is is a good spot to reload and get the quests to spaw. The quests are all combat, primarily with elite enemies so you get some character xp as well as enemy resources and a few more artifacts. Sometimes when I’m bored and just want to try different team ideas I just farm that area since you can just force spawn enemies that might drop artifacts May take a few more minutes but better rewards for sure

I also do Signora, Lupus Borealis, and Childe once a week. 3. Do event. It depends on how much time I have, but I usually spend around 20m on the event. 4. You can do 6 ley lines everyday (1 mora and 1 xp from each region) without claiming the rewards. Good way to get some extra mora and mats from killing the monsters
