Hi, here Nacho from Bcn Spain at my 46's. Started to going to bike park this year, doing some enduro tracks for a while. I would say body threatening instead of life threatening. Not having fun an happynes is really life threatening. Great vibes and nice video, thanks for sharing and happy birthday Steve!

I'm 50 too and yep, when we fall we crack not bounce. I just came back from Thredbo and loved it but some of those trails were like riding over corrugated iron. My forearms bore the brunt of that. I also notice you have been shopping at the Bunnings line of mountain biking safety attire (gloves).

Great video, you’re a very good rider, I’m 54 myself and thinking of getting a mountain bike. May I ask, have easier mountain bike trails for beginners and lesser experienced mountain bike riders?

@@masteryoda498 There sure are Yoda. There are trails for every skill level, and generally riders are happy to guide you and offer what assistance they can. Its a very welcoming community. If thinking about a getting a bike - think long and hard about the type of riding you are likely to be doing. If you need to upgrade your bike in 12 months take this as a sign of success. By type of riding, I mean general commute (urban, up and down gutters the odd dirt fire road for short cuts - or weekend treks getting out amongst nature, fire roads and easy single track. Maybe you come from a biking background, bmx or something and hitting some jump trails is your thing......) like I say, think about the type of riding you are likely to actually do. This will dictate the type of bike best for you. Cheap suspension is over rated, better to put you money into a drive train than a cheap rear suspension - but like I say, depends what riding you want to do. Ride well Master Yoda - take the plunge and commit some time to it. You wont regret it.
