The Alexander Trail Mountain Biking in the Salt Range Pakistan

Downhill Cycling through the Alexander Trail.
The Alexander Trail is a pass through the hills of the Salt Range near Khewra Pakistan. Actually the Salt Mines at Khewra were discovered when Alexander the Great passed this region in 320BC during his conquests of the Punjab (Jehlum). The Alexander Trail is the name given to a pass that connects the top of the hill at Kussak to Khewra. It is believed to be the path taken by the troops of Alexander on their way towards Jehlum.
