Hi Mark, I rode a small frame which I thought was good but in hindsight I should have been on a medium. There is an element of personal preference but after seeing a photo of my hanging off the back I really needed a longer reach . My new bike 2020 Specialized enduro is S3 (mediumish) and it feels very comfortable but it’s a noticeably longer bike.... review to come on that one

Really interested to see the verdict on this. I'm the same height a have a 2019 Trance 29 and a 2018 Capra 29 in the stable. The Trance is fine, but the longer travel of the Capra results in quite a few more kicks up the behind on the steeps, so I wonder whether a 27.5 bike would be better for my long travel needs.

@@reigyyocacun9490 I learned to be more central and lower on the bike, instead of hanging all my weight over the back on steep sections. Way more control and no more butt buzz.
