Thanks so much for this video. My wife, Son and I just did this trail, and watching your video before it helped so much to know where we were going and what to expect around each turn.

No worries. I'm happy it helped and you and your family had a good ride!

Thanks for bringing up these beginner trails. Shortly after you posted the video where you broke your collarbone I had an accident on an access trail at Greer ranch and nearly broke my back. I’m still feeling some pain in my disc but it’s still healing. Seeing these videos gives me more options to go out on easier longer trails to regain my leg strength and my confidence
@MTBTrailReview4 жыл бұрын
That's crazy. I hope you heal up quickly. That was exactly my thought process with the beginner friendly rides. I'm going to shift to more low intermediate now, and hopefully I'll be back at Greer in another month or two!

Great Video! Thank you for your beginner videos as I am always looking for some trips my wife and I can go on and ride at the same time. Call me crazy but at the 21:54 mark to your left is that a baby bear?

Of course! I was using the Rylo when I filmed this one.

Thanks for the video. Used this as a preview for my wife to ride & me to run. Question: why are people parking on the street but not the little lot next to the trail?
@MTBTrailReview4 жыл бұрын
No worries! I usually park in the big dirt lot, because it's an easy meet up spot. I'm not sure why people wouldn't park in the small lot.

I've done this one on a Cyclocross with 38c tires. It's a good "intermediate" for gravel riders.
@MTBTrailReview4 жыл бұрын
I believe it. Just technical enough to present a challenge, but still rideable.

@@MTBTrailReview that's what I like about gravel bikes, stuff that is boring on my 150mm bike can be a lot of fun if you're a bit underbiked. That place looks like it'd be a blast on a gravel bike.

@@MAGAIVER A gravel bike would probably be ideal for this ride.

There's not anything that's purposefully built, but you can find some fun lines.

Maybe it’s just me but a cactus lined trail doesn’t seem like a good place for a beginner.

You should be fine as long as you stay on the wider trails. I take my wife (beginner) here, and she enjoys it.
