Awesome video! Can you explain the master cylinder a bit more? I have a stage 3 clutch on my ALH with a hydraulic clutch and it flexes my entire firewall when pressed in.

It’s a good idea to support the clutch/brake section of firewall. I ran a brace from master cylinder down to the body. My truck actually has a cable clutch 02a using a Eurovan clutch actuator! I use a Honda Civic clutch cable. With my corrado transmission. Sounds like a cool ride!! I loved my alh it ate Vr6 clutches like MAD 🤣😂

This is very interesting. I have a TDI swap in a CJ7, but I'm looking at an mTDI swap for another motor. Do you have a schematic for how you're doing this? I've seen the ones where it uses a in dash needle and a dawes device and has a dampening device as it uses boost to counteract the dawes device. What I'm guessing is that you have vacuum to the ball valve at all times, and you're just letting some in? I'd assume the dawes device was to dampen the amount of vaccum going to the ball: more pedal, more vacuum. Is that correct?

All you need is a Dawes device. And a ball valve. Dawes is Hooked up exactly how many diagrams describe it if you search it. And a ball valve connected to the throttle pedal. More vacuum the more throttle. Let off, vacuum is blocked off. Simple and effective for all driving conditions.

I personally like having the needle valve by the shifter because it allows me to tune the engine on the fly. And that my fueling only comes on under boost, I can go from 2-3psi no fuel at wot I can unscrew the needle valve to let vacuum get to my ball valve. And then I can get 20psi and was spinning the tires in 4th on slush.
