Thank you for doing these budget decks! My interest is spread out over many card games, and standard can be too expensive for me to put a lot of effort and money into. I like being able to go to an FNM with a $10-20 deck and make the guy across the table using the $300 net deck nervous! :P

at game day I shut out several people with full lands bases and hangarbacks with a $30 black red eldrazi deck. I think the most expensive thing when I built it was smoldering marsh,which was actually an upgrade after building the deck. I say when built because endless one for a price spike

Keep the awesome videos coming! Also, I ran that cheap goblin budget deck at standard FNM tonight and it was impressive. I went 2-3 but two of my losses went to game 3 so it was closer than you'd think to top 8. Alright later!

Oh one last thing about the Goblin budget deck... I got out 2 Outpost Sieges game 2 against Dark Jeskai and was drawing 3 cards a turn. It was hilarious. Ended the game and the round with a 4/1 Subterranean Scout, 3/1 Reckless Bushwhacker, 2/1 Reckless Bushwhacker, and a Wild Slash to the face, no blocks obviously thanks to the tunnel from the scout. Going wide or over the top? Pshh, I'll just go under.

So I've recently went on a MTGO play-testing binge with this deck (or my slightly altered version of it) and the result have been about what I expected. I've found it really likes 4 of Ruins of Oran Reef and 1 Sea Gate.

Love the deck! Went 4-0 at my local FNM, people were shocked at the cost. One question. Would switching out a Reaver drone for a 4th swarm surge mess with consistency in your opinion? I just wanted to ask the creator what they thought

I think that with the inclusion of the Endless Ones, a good Kaladesh card to add in here would be Aetherborn Marauder. The utility of making it unblockable is powerful on its own, it can replenish your life for more cards that require it to be played, and with the huge mana base can sap a ton of counters from Endless Ones to close out the game. If I could find room for it, it would be a solid inclusion.

+xanaxkamikaze I've played against a fun impact tremor deck that used thoptors and cheif of the foundry for win cons, only problem is that it gets shut down quick by any enchantment hate and most good players usually sideboard for it.

Nice deck tech. Something very similar to my own current brew. Except for card draw/advantage Im using Transgress the mind, oath of jace, and inverter of truth. who has been pretty sweet i gotta say. Prolly better in the sideboard when I know im not playing against reflector mage, but whatever that card is so fun and actually got alot better in my mind with delve leaving the format.

I took out sky scourer and it gives at a lot more versatility with bearer of silence's added removal.

Im trying to build a more control based deck with the U/B eldrazi, fathom feeder, mind melter, ulamogs nullifier, sire of stagnation, and oblivion strike. Basically exiling everything. I want a cool name for the pair like little monsters and big brother. Got any ideas?

Just to show you how OP eldrazi are, after a few weeks of zendikar being out and after a pre release and a few packs, I decided to gather all the eldrazi I had, throw them into a deck (all of them, without even reading card text) and only looking at mana symbols so I could add the correct colours of mana. I dominated with it for a long time and only stopped using it because It became boring to constantly play the same thing.

wow wow wow. I mainly play yugioh but all the locals are 30 minute drives/too far away. mtg locals is right down the street and im debating on building this $5 deck. but I hate standard and the locals crowd isn't too friendly regarding new players.

I play this deck with some Modification on a FNM (3-1), i replace 1 Sludge Crawler for 1 Endless One and 2 Dimensional Infiltrator for 2 Bearer of Silence, thank god this deck is really impressive :) I remember that i beat someone with a 400$ deck !!

I think sort of an underrated card is Skull Sifter because it gives you tokens when your non-token creatures die, and Eldrazi tend to play a LOT of creatures.

Gotta say.. I JUST bought this deck.. Card for card.. From scg, just for shits n giggles, and it's fun. It's not jesus or anything, but I have a $250 r/b vampire deck, and with the right hand, it can kinda keep up with it. Granted the vamp deck usually obliterates it.. But I've had a nice surprise or two. Nice little deck to start with for new players.

+Tim Boone +Tim Boone That is a good question, ive been trying to fill this deck out, sounds like a decent start. This deck is tricky though, it has alot of what it needs but just spread out too much.. I've found duress to be good main, also foul tongue will often seal the deal if 2 copies of swarm surge didn't. Slip through space is ok, when everything is flying i dont feel it is necessary, anticipate seemed to be better at getting through the deck and finding something you need rather than just one draw. experimented with three reality smasher for top end and it sometimes curved out very nicely, but i have settled on two and two though knot seers, smasher seems to sorta mess with the direction ive been taking it, so he might be out soon. Also sludge crawler although ok as a mana sink replacing it with mist intruder seemed better, i find that the flying IS one of the most important things, ensuring damage very often. i like 4 dimensional infiltrators aswell just to keep the exile going when we are waiting on draws. Besides that im am now just tweaking what counter spells are the best for my local meta.

+Jose Cordero Did you run it against other budget builds or $300 decks? It should be expected you'll lose more than 50% of the time if you are running budget. Some people only have $10 available to play magic. They could run this deck and pay the fee for FNM.
