I gotta say, as a fairly poor gamer who has to upgrade his decks slowly, I am loving these budget to competitive decks. I have made your mono green Eldrazi ramp deck and, with me being 12 years out of practice, managed to place pretty well, with 3 Wins and 1 loss at the last FNM I was at. Had lots of fun! I am building your Blue Black Budget Eldrazi aggro deck at the moment. Also eyeing this deck, cause who doesn't love werewolves!

I wouldn't mind playing some standard (mostly play modern) but being able to play something in standard without spending too much is perfect. Was really happy drafting a red green werewolf deck in my pre-release sealed pool so being able to make a deck from that is really exciting. Thanks!

Great video, ive been playing around with a very similar deck to this (competitive version), ive just playtested yours against mine, yours is straight up more refined and in testing yours will win 70% of matches vs my home brew, i guess i really underestimated scourge wolf!!!

I made an RGB mostly werewolf deck during prerelease (GB for removal and The Gitrog Monster; RG for aggro). A really good card was Cult of the Waxing Moon, since it allows you to populate any time your opponent tries to untransform your werewolves. It makes the deck much more flexible. Also, Rabid Bite is worth including as a cheap removal spell, though it is only sorcery speed.

+k98killer Cult of the Waxing Moon only gives you a 2/2 wolf whenever a permanent you control turns into a non-human, not the other way around. It's also a 5-drop, making it clunky for aggro decks.

Charles C It still lets you populate when your opponent tries to untransform your werewolves because then you just don't play any spells on your turn and they immediately flip back. It worked out pretty well for me during prerelease.

I ended up moding the budget deck a little bit for myself. Same list except I got rid of the Timberpack Wolves and added 2 more Geier Reach Bandits and added 2 of the Arlinn Kord from the comp deck.

Yes, I've been waiting to see somebody do Wolves right, and it's even nicer to see a deck I can afford to build. :P But I have to ask, what are your thoughts on Ember-Eye Wolf in a budget deck? I mean, I know the 2 drop slot is pretty swamped, but it's another hasting body that turns into a pretty damn good mana sink late game (especially with a Howlpack Resurgence out), so it fits the whole 'do stuff without doing stuff' theme you have going on. :P

Just wanted to point out that I have tested this deck on xmage and it does very well. I would put in 4 lambholt pacificsts instead. You can titans stregnth, arlinn +1, or howlpack resurgance to allow her to attack the turn after she is put out. It is very relevant.

Love the wolf theme and will surely try something similar, only thing i can c is that everything dies to any control wrath, from tendrils, languish, radiant flames to the obvious planar outburst and always in the meta, kozilecks return...kinda like blue eldrazi which when it works its ok but the times u get blown out are much more prevalent...

Would it not be a possibility to throw in more spells that target the wolves, in order to create more wolves? So things like Expedite. You could have fewer actual wolves (perhaps just the Village Messengers, Recruiters, and Partisans) and put more targeting spells to get more tokens. That's the deck I'm going to try, anyway.

Ok so first it feels as though westvale abbey and Avacyn are going to dominate in standard so would 1 or 2 clipped wings for them be God in the sideboard. Also, I know it wouldn't be necessary but in the competitive version collected company feels good

3 colour will work. The new shadow lands work well with the battle lands since they count as both of their types. For example cinder glade is "mountain Forrest". So if you have game trail and cinder glade in your hand, you can play game trail and reveal cinder glade so it comes onto the battle field untapped. The only downside is the battle lands which need two basics on the field before you can play them untapped.

I'm not too sold on four copies of Avacyn's Judgement if it's solely delirium fodder. It loses a lot of potential without a reliable discard engine to trigger madness. Twin Bolt or Dual Shot would be better alternatives, but if you insist on having a sorcery, I'd suggest Burn from Within.

The Delirium is an important (and it is important) aspect of the decision to play Judgement, but the synergy with Silverfur Partisan is another reason. Target two of your own wolves for a damage apiece and get two more wolves! This sounds casual, but mattered in multiple games.

Play 4 so that you can reliably draw her by turn 4. She also has a huge target on her back and a low starting loyalty, so it's nice to be able to replace her when she gets removed. The least I'd play is 3. She's the most powerful card in the deck and the one we want to see as often and reliably as possible.

I see you don't get the point lol. She's 2 sided, so there will be place keeper cards so you only need 1 or 2 copies of the actual card. Just like how you only need 2 of the origins planeswalkers because you could only have one in creature form and another in planeswalker form. You can only have one form of Arlinn at a time

It still sounds like you're saying you only need to put 1 copy of the card into your deck. That would be asinine. Just like saying "you only need 2 copies of the Origins flip walkers", forgetting the fact that pretty much every deck that can produce blue plays 4 Jace. No one is disputing that you can only have one Arlinn out at a time, regardless of whether or not she's transformed. That's obvious. But what it LOOKS like you're saying is that you shouldn't play more than one Arlinn due to that fact, which, if this IS what you're saying, is just incorrect.

I think sin prodded should be added in personally he is great card advantage (not on turn three though they can screw you on land.) but him later with arlinn will be a 5-4 vigilance haste menace. Timber pack wolf seems okay but the pacifist is honestly great. The anthem flash enchant makes her a 4-4 trample for 2 mana. Arlinn makes her a 5-5 for 2 and If she flips it's even better. I also like the 2-3 for 3 that lets you draw if anyone plays anything on your turn transforms to a 3-4 that lets you draw two. He isn't that great maybe a sideboard card on long games against control magic if he sticks and they counter something else that's a replacement card for it (maybe 2)
