He didn't think LVD had a stony strength in hand. The opponent prolly had an approach to cast next turn and just needed one more untap cycle to cast it and win.

Great take on elves. The chaining refuel spells are a very good idea to offset their propension to die to wraths.

The last time I played paper magic back in the early 2000s, Elves were good: create more mana than you can spend, draw lots of cards, flood the board with cheap creatures, and win with overrun (5 mana sorcery, +3/+3 trample to all your creatures). I guess not much has changed...

Elves is a archetype I might go for more often when I will return to Arena one day. I played a Mana-Elves and green Leyline based ramp deck to cast Ulamog turn three (never happened, but still the deck was quite competitive). Best regards!

Hi LegenVD, you missed lethal in that last game at 33:25 min. When the opponent left with one mana, you could cast for +3 / +3 after you declared attackers for 14 damage.

Yes but Arena''s algorithm is a bitch and recognises you have Allosaurus in your deck so refuses to ever put you up against a deck that does run counterspells and then when you finally do, you don't draw the lil s***. One of the things I hate about Arena

Surprised that you don't have any of that 1 drops that turn all elves into 5/5. I would assume at least 1 copy would be better than second Selvala. Especially considering that Selvala is kind of a nonbo with opponent's Uro.
