Can't you Blink of an Eye the Conjecture in response to its third chapter trigger at 12:07 in the video? According to official rules text: "If the number of lore counters on a Saga permanent is greater than or equal to its final chapter number, and it isn't the source of a chapter ability that has triggered but not yet left the stack, that Saga's controller sacrifices it. This state-based action doesn't use the stack." If the third chapter trigger is on the stack, Conjecture shouldn't have sacrificed itself yet and should be a valid target for Blink.

I personally would include more expansion//Explosion, just to have the two card combo out of nowhere with kick fight with fire + expansion for instant lethal.

Hey, love your vids. I know you don't get many views for your modern stuff; but, it's by far some of the most creative and inspiring decks around. I hope you consider making more in the future. Maybe consider viewer submitted ones with some touch ups for competitiveness. Renting the decks online can be quite cheap too, so it won't be too hard on the wallet. Right now, I've been playing around with an old "Dark choke" deck in modern and updating its manabase (google it, it's an annoying deck to play against). GL man!

The only reason I'm still making some Modern content is because of the support on Patreon. MTGO videos are a more work to edit compared to Arena without the views to back it up.

It's about time, lol, I've been running a bastardized version of your previous one. Fight with fire has been my back up banefire combo, but there is a bug in the game where if you duplicate it, then it forces you to choose the same targets at the same damage for the copy. Not an issue if firing to the face, but sometimes I'm forced to do board wipes with it.

How To Change Land-Art Post-RNA for People Asking: imgur.com/a/4CuRSzQ Copy and paste the entire land list from that link then import it into Arena in the deck builder and make a clone of that deck. The clone is the shell of the next deck you are going to build all you need to do is to cut the lands you don't want. You need to manually add the quantity of land by clicking the number box of each card while in vertical deck view. Do not turn on Auto-Suggest Lands as the land-art will automatically revert to the default selection.

There is currently no way of changing the art of the lands within the game itself right now. While this will change soon, the only way to do this right now is to import the lands from an external deck list. On AetherHub, you can change the art of cards within your decks and export them. The link shows the code for each land art.

imgur.com/a/4CuRSzQ The best way is to just copy and paste the entire land list from that link and import it as a deck and make a clone of that deck every time you need to make a new one then cut the lands you don't want and voila a slightly frustrating work around until Wizards' deck builder designers fix the land selection issue.

I played this, queued against 8 mono red in a row. Thought maybe in constructed event that wouldn't happen that often. First 2 opponents, mono red. Fuck this, I really enjoy playing against creature based aggro decks as it's a constant back and forth but in this state of MTGA, I can basically instantly concede if my colors have no tools to deal with burn spell after burn spell, just to save me those 2 minutes with a win chance of 10%.

Not really, we can't afford to miss land drops when we want to get up to at least 9 mana for kicked Fight with Fire. With all the card draw we can make use of a lot of lands.
