This system really rewards win streaks - I play bo1 standard and hit mythic day 1 of the season and immediately placed in top #200 then played a little over 200 games in mythic over the next 7 days holding a little below 70% winrate in mythic. I was in top 50 only after 8+ game win streaks. Today despite winning exactly 66.6% games I dropped down from #50 to #150. I also track rank of my opponents and in around 3 out of 5 games I'm getting matched vs people I already know - very often I see names in top #100 that later that day are in top #600 and then next day back in top #100. It's just depends whether you catch them on winstreak or loss streak.

One technique I use is I never let search timer go over 1min. I'm not sure if I'm right on this one but I believe that system is really trying to find you someone after you waited for a while. On Saturday I was in top 100 and got matched vs player in Diamond 3 after letting it run for too long because I wasn't paying attention - when it rains it pours and I had to mulligan twice this game and lost and went from top 100 to top 200 just from this one loss. It's really not worth the risk to me.

So is like 100% the lowest you can get or is 0% the lowest for percentage players? Like which direction to I need to be going to get into ranked? Towards 100% or towards 0%?

Holy shit! So I just went from Platinum to Mythic, for the first time, in the last 24 hours. I went 20-2, way high win rate. So you're telling me, since I'm at 99%, I'm almost to the top 1200?

No, Maybe the top 100,000 are 99% and 100% is the final 2000. But who knows. Multiple people can be the same rank at once. 2000 isnt top 2000 players, its just a rank number.

Multiple people can share the same number in mythic. It isnt a numbered amount of players in the top 1500

They can tie for the same spot, but then the following spot would be skipped. I was top #56 today and played vs another top #56 - this means that noone had spot #57 and the next taken spot was #58 (unless there was more than 2 people tied on rank #56).
