I think I like Dead Weight over Fatal Push even in the upgraded version. Like you said yourself it is ideally early game removal and the cost is even. DW has the advantage of being a 6th card type and one that can easily trigger delirium for our Dryads. Push does have it's advantages too. I'll have to tinker with it myself to see what works best for me. Once again a huge thanks for all the brews you share with us.

Definitely love the budget decks Dev, but please always, always, always include your thoughts on the unlimited budget upgrades for those who can and want to do that. I agree with you about Gonti. I'm working on a Panharmonicon blink deck that centers around Gonti because I enjoy playing with it and stealing my opponents cards. I'd like to see you build a deck that abuses Gonti's abilities just to see what you come up with. Also, the BW midrange deck sounds cool so I vote for that one. Thanks!

I was looking at the Arrows a few days ago. Thanks for showing me this.
@Madjas007 жыл бұрын
I recently put together a modern version of the Poison Arrow deck. It uses the card Viridian Longbow which is so much better than the card Pathway Arrows. It cost 3 to equip but you don't have to pay any mana to activate the ability which makes it way more mana efficient than Pathway Arrows. People hate the deck because once I get Viridian Longbow on a creature it's pretty much over for them. It's such a dirty deck and I love it. Also Glissa, The Traitor is one of my favorite cards of all time.

I'm a new subscriber and really enjoy watching your videos. There is a format that very few touch on and its Kitchen Table casual! I'm sure I'm not the only one with a small group of people who just like playing fun decks around a table in multiplayer style. Most deck techs are solely for straight up one on one and with one format in mind (usually standard or modern). Building decks to survive in this style of game play is rather difficult. We don't use sideboards so you must try and cater each deck you build to withstand a multitude of strategies. Is there any chance you could do a couple videos on some fun synergistic type decks where there are no banned cards and would still hold its ground in a multiplayer format? I've recently used some of your deck ideas and tried building them with some older more powerful synergies to work in our style of play. either way thanks for doing what you do and putting out all the great videos.

My friend has a black/white kill control deck that he has had through many rotations. He just takes out stuff that rotates and puts in the best removal in black and white from each new set... I think you are onto something with death touchers. Combining with instant blinks is interesting answer to fatal push/shock effects. Mass untap abilities recently printed also make death touch an unexpected answer to current meta

I see potential for a ramp deck with Gitrog, Mina and Denn, and Omnath. Toss in some sacrificeable lands for ramp and card draw. Lots of sac outlets just printed for omnath tokens. I think they planned on current set cards not being available with BFZ cards. Many decks have low p/t removal

I think you should really be running Abzan, (White/Black/Green), which gives you access to another cheap deathtoucher in Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, but more importantly gives you access to Open the Armory, which is another 4 copies of pathway arrows. Also, I think Clear Shot is better than Nature's Way. Yeah, it costs one more, but being an instant is massive.

I think it's funny that Narnham rhymes with Yharnam, which is the city from Bloodborne, and all the creatures in the deck have deathtouch. Just a nerdy thing I noticed.
@2kylesmith7 жыл бұрын
I think you should have considered going growth +4+4 over nature's way because it looks like this deck will have problems dealing out a lot of damage to the opponent. A growth or two would let you really bring their health down even if they just let a 1/1 creature through because of not wanting to lose a creature to death touch.
@SuperRedmerlin7 жыл бұрын

Absolutely. You could play it over Dhund Operative too, if you'd like

well the poisoner can spit out a servo to turn on the operative, so that's why o was think the aetherborn, maybe the cobra?

Taking into account the double black on the gifted (a problem with the mana base as you said in the video), I'd consider making a split with 2 cards of each of the 3 of them
@chrisgallo22367 жыл бұрын
How about Malakir familiar as well? If you throw the arrows on gifted Aetherborn it'll deal the one damage to kill a creature and gain you a life with lifelink meaning the familiar could be a 3/2 flier with deathtouch. Not too bad.
