I actually run this deck myself, and based on what I've played, there's a ton of budget options and alternatives for cards in this list. I'd definitely replace some if not all copies of Welding Sparks with Incendiary Flow, the ability to target players is absolutely pivotal, and being a sorcery is not quite as much of a downside as you'd think, especially since it's only 2 mana. I like to run 1/2 each of Yahenni, Undying Partisan and Kari Zev, Skyship Raider. Haste is a great ability on Yahenni, and being able to sacrifice a Scrapheap Scrounger only to bring it back is awesome. Kari Zev is an excellent target for Built to Smash, and a 2/1 that keeps coming back is not only great sacrifice fodder, but can also take the opponent's creatures with it for even more value. As far as the sideboard goes, I'd definitely go up a few Transgress the Mind, being able to take any piece of the Saheeli combo, as well as gearhulks, etc, make it an excellent spell to get rid of the things your burn can't quite reach. If you're okay with spending a bit of money, Fatal Push is also one of the best additions to the deck. Upping the burn count or pump spell count (built to smash) would also be an excellent idea, probably favouring them against the vehicles. Aethersphere harvester is a very good vehicle, but Sky Skiff is honestly terrible. Replacing it with some amount of Yahenni, Kari Zev, or even Gonti would be far more playable. The synergy with Weldfast Engineer is a consideration, but losing a creature to crew is usually pretty terrible, and Pia Nalaar's tokens are more than capable of being good targets for the attack bonus anyway.

Love the sideboard breakdown for sure, also as always this list looks very fun. Things I want in amon khet would be another good control finisher besides snap hulk, shock land reprints since technically we were losing the man lands and slow lands until they changed rotation back, those god cards to be dual or tri colored to make the shock lands more reasonable lol, a badass bolas and to actually open a masterpiece lol. As far as bans go I hate the cat combo but I hate card banning more so yeah. And I would love to see another Abzan deck Tech just so maybe we get another rapzan video lol.

@Treaxvour7 жыл бұрын
My deck similar to this, but I also run mimic and goggles instead of pia, forunner and some of the vehicles. If the artificers resolve on goggles they are much harder to remove. Even scrapheap with goggles is hard to remove. Use key to the city for unblockable instead of pia. Throw alms and fiery temper for madness, (Mad artificers) and side them out appropriately. And if you're not in a budget, Chandra is house in this deck.

As always, super awesome deck tech!! Thanks Dev!! I want to see a revolt deck that uses Stitcher's Graft. I have vigilance creatures and a couple always watching with a bunch of servo generators. Wondering what your thoughts on that would be. I think it would be a fun deck to play and at a glance, it seems like it could be competitive. I have been playing around with the Untethered Express powered by servos. Not sure if the Lords should be included. I will subscribe (51,000) to increase my chances of seeing it :) :) and because I want to be included in any new stuff as well as checking out some of your older posts.

I played something similar to this right around the time Aether Revolt was released, just haven't found time to edit the videos. i am playing a white/green human deck with Thalia and lone riders with thalias LT and Oath of Ajani's. I flash in herons grace champion or avaycn when i need them and play 4 always watching for the obvious vigilance and the plus 1 buffs to help protect from avacyns transformation. for fun i threw in gideon and nissa, voice of zendikar. one of the best TRICKS of the deck besides counters everywhere is the ralliers get back my lone riders for lifelink and thalias LT's for even more counters on my humans. I hope u try this deck and even improve it.

I have been playing Black Red aggro since vampires. I still have a vampire package and i have been consistently beat Mardu vehicles and Saheeli/control decks. It's more or less a R/B burn deck and the mvp is definitely scrapheap and sin prodder. When you get them down to 7 on turn 3 playing a sin prodder with a lot of burn puts them in a annoying spot. Plus all my burn can go to the face

@chrisgallo22367 жыл бұрын
I made a deck similar to this although I think it's slightly more budget: B/R Aggro Land (22) 4 Foreboding Ruins 8 Swamp 10 Mountain Creature (24) 4 Ornithopter (0) 4 Bomat Courier (1) 4 Inventor's Apprentice (1) 4 Scrapheap Scrounger (2) 4 Weldfast Engineer (3) 4 Snare Thopter (4) Other (14) 2 Shock (1) 3 Built To Smash (1) 3 Invigorated Rampage (2) 2 Welding Sparks (3) 4 Unlicensed Disintegration (3) I had some pump in there and no vehicles. Weldfast Engineer does a lot of work as well as the pump spells making things like Ornithopter a real threat. People that they were safe with a little 0/2 that they didn't have to worry about and bam suddenly they were tapped out not thinking they needed removal for it and 6 power flying is swinging in. Same thing with Weldfast into Snare Thopter a 6/2 swinging in the turn we play it because of the haste. Pretty good.

I've seen lots of mono red decks of this sort before, but It'd be cool to see a Pia's Revolution deck that splashed blue for Efficient Construction. That way whenever you cast your free artifacts (thanks to foundry inspector) you get some thopters to either sacrifice or use as chump blockers.
@nnavotineb7 жыл бұрын
love your stuff! a guy told me about your channel a year ago and I've been glued ever since keep it up! I have a question can you crew a vehicle with a declared blocker and still block with it? so 2 attackers foundry inspector to block creature1 crew caravan use to block creature2.
@dansaxton26947 жыл бұрын
Benito Vann You would have to crew in response to an attack. So you cannot declare blockers and then crew.
