I like the direction the deck and I could see myself making Mirri the command and going wide. If I end up getting the vampire deck, I will probably trade to get Mirri for my saskia deck.

I wasn't going to get the cat deck.. But with all those cool equipment I might have to. I have an equipment deck already, but it doesn't have green in it so the green cards aren't useful.. But that hammer and the bloodforged Axe are both great. Especially the hammer with those really expensive equip costs. A bit of redundancy is always nice with Sigarda's Aid.

I feel the same way, I think Mirri with some small creature generation could be really good.

Mirri plus Pressure point is the first thing that comes to mind, stall and draw a card very white.

I just built a zombie tribal deck with the scarab god. Now I really want to have tribal cats, I just can't afford all this, haha! I'm enjoying the cat/equipment theme so far!

Here's an idea: make a keyword like gladiator to be the opposite of menace and force 1 on 1 battles if the opponent blocks like Mirror. Waiting for the obligatory Hammer Time when Nazahn is played. Auto attach equips like hero's blade and hammer of nazahn makes the game so much faster I admit.

That reminds me of Provoke from the Onslaught Block. Provoke said that when this creature attacks you may have target creature the defending player controls untap and block. There were not that many cards that used it but it was pretty unique.

Heroes and Legends MTG cool, I mean even yugioh is calling the graveyard GY in newest cards though I quit the game. Repetitive explanations need keywords, and I see what Oracle text means with that provoke context; reprints should have updated text.

Mirri has a lot of potential as a voltron commander. She's in the right colors for Sigarda and assuming you stack her well with lifelink, she's going to deal more damage and heal more life than all of your opponents single creatures will reach rotation. She's perfect tbh.

I'm really digging the cards since they fit perfectly well in Tribal Wars. Other than that, we now know that R&D can make new cards for old characters (That already had cards before) that are long gone and release them through here. Here's hoping for new versions of the Weatherlight crew like Gerrard, Slobad, Sisay, etc. I particularly hope for a better Selenia. She is undoubtedly the worst angel card to ever exist for me (and a legendary no less). I recently asked MaRo on his blog if characters that aren't prominent or featured in the story (such as the Fourth Flight Sister of Innistrad or Nissa's mother) can get their own cards in a product like Commander. He said that Commander has been more willing to pickup missed characters like them in recent years.

That is one of the things I really like about the Commander product. They have been open to ringing back older characters. The 2014 Planeswalker Commanders were a great example of that.

Here's hoping they bring back a slew of characters in the spoilers to come or in the future products they'll release. I'm personally hoping for a Planeswalker version of Jaya Ballard that's hopefully very anti-Blue and very Burn oriented in order to stay true to her creature version and character philosophy. How about you John?

Jaya would probally be my number one as well either a planeswalker or at least another Legendary version. I wouldn't mind seeing another Tefari and Gerrard too.

Good question. I would say that they could reprint it but it feels like we may have seen all the rares now for that deck. I guess we will see.

I'm hoping there will be something in this deck that plays nicely with Brimaz. He is high among my favourite cards, but he doesn't feel like he gets there for commander, would be cool to get him to work somehow.
