I play CEDH, been waiting a long time for an actively good Azorius commander that isn't boring old Grand Arbiter. Can't wait to get my hands on this

What an absurdly unique yet fun azorius I can’t blame you for instantly building it

Bouncing Mystic Sanctuary for infinite turns seems pretty spicy.

If you really want to make the table hate you, push Magistrate's Scepter with Coretapper. Start a turn with Coretapper, or get that 3rd counter on the Scepter, and its unlimited extra turns! Tap it, sac it, 3 counters on Scepter, bring back Coretapper, and repeat! They are 2 and 3 cost artifacts, so easily searched out, and re-used...

Moonsilver Key and Artificer's Intuition are pretty good for this deck.

If you have a free discard outlet and an Amulet of Vigor you can get infinite landfall with the azorius and white artifact lands.

Surveyor’s scope says exile so you cannot recur it for value

Oops, I missed that, thanks for pointing that out. I guess it's just wayfarer's bauble, burnished hart, and solemn simulacrum (w sac outlet) then that let you repeatedly get lands out of your deck and into play with Tameshi. Unless there's any other cards I'm missing?

@@thecommandersbeacon1158 Dreamscape artist works pretty well with Tameshi. Either discard an artifact you want to recur or sac an artifact land.

You missed the biggest landfall enabler that is ONE CARD! Parallax Tide... Just 5 landfall in a turn!
@thecommandersbeacon11582 жыл бұрын
Nice suggestion, thanks! I also like that you can exile tapped lands, then they'll come back untapped, so when you account for the mana cost of Parallax Tide, you'll be up one mana.

Yes, the bounce ability works on your opponents. But why would you make a video and suggest cards without confirming that first if you weren't sure that's how it worked? I mean you got lucky and guessed right. But that's not the point. Also, I would say building this as a landfall deck is not a smart idea. It might be kinda fun I guess, but there are way better things to be doing with her. I would agree with you on cards like Hedron Crab to Mill yourself. Self Mill would give you a massive advantage over your opponents. Tameshi wants to be a Blue White control deck that builds towards a combo. This wants to recur tax pieces and stuff like that. I'm thinking of cards like Stasis and Aura of Silence. Deafening Silence would be absolutely broken in this deck since you're advancing your board with her ability. Landfall is not the way to go. Returning the land to hand is a way of trying to balance the ability

Thanks for your feedback. Regarding the functionality of Tameshi to draw you a card when an opponent's permanent is returned to hand - I do think that it's ok to make conjectures, as long as conjectures are clearly stated as such, rather than as facts. If I recall correctly, some larger Commander channels (e.g. The Command Zone, Commander's Quarters) have also, on occasion, given disclaimers that they 'think' a mechanic works a certain way, but aren't 100% sure. Nonetheless, it is certainly not my intent to represent conjecture as fact, so my apologies for being misleading here. I definitely agree with you regarding the difficulty of building Tameshi as a landfall deck. I mentioned that build option because it seems like a very obvious avenue that many players will consider, but I also did caution the difficulty of redeploying those bounced lands in a deck that lacks green. Good suggestion for the use of Tameshi as Stax commander - I hadn't considered that. I don't typically play cEDH, so some of the strategies in that playstyle aren't as obvious to me (I view Stax as primarily a cEDH strategy, since most casual players dislike it).
