i know you mentioned the problems with this set from a players standpoint, but god i love midnight hunt and crimson vow. they are the sets that got me into mtg and i will love them forever. such gorgeous art and theming and it will always hold a special place in my heart

@@CardboardKiwi ive thought about it! ive never actually put together a deck to play with so ill have to poke around to see what other people have made! my folks gave me some birthday money so i was thinking about buying some cards with it but i may have to use it on bills instead we’ll see 🥴

Rubes!! Opening up the set that got me back into Magic!! Man i was hoping you would pull a Sorin, but at least you got his grandpa and a couple of expensive, evil slugs 🤣 I'm actually a fan of day/night, but i Guess i was spoiled on arena with it auto keeping up with the day night cycle. In paper with my werewolf deck, i tend to keep up with the cycles as a threat ("Better play two spells before they eat you!") lol Nice vid as always, and some nice pulls too 😎

Man, feel like this video is a pretty great PSA to stay away from this set as sealed product. It took a God box hitting all the high price mythics to beat the box and even with that it was pretty close. Hope your Japan trip is going well!
