And with Vanquisher's Banner and Metallic Mimic, we can make our little humans big and keep from running out of gas!

Think of adding Skyship Plunderers. It adds to your energy, and mettalic mimic counters. But is also an evasive, 2 power, 2 drop.

Me and my playgroup are working on breaking swarm intelligence. Using ramp spells to get there, and using sanguine sacrament to gain butt-tons of life and win with approach or aetherflux reservoir

So, i like the red splash in this deck, but i feel that for various meta's you may prefer to cut red from the main and play that removal instead. Given the objective option and the question 'where to make room', that's likely where i would (or at least try)

hi this deck looks like it has a good match up against energy but if i was you fatal push main deck any day and maby a evolving wilds or 2 this would make it better rounded and you could add in the Marauding Looter or Kambal, Consul of Allocation i feal like they would make the deck better what about you dev?

Kinda want to try Captain Lannery Storm instead of Pia. Treasures are great for mana fixing/acceleration. Also, Dusk//Dawn is insane in this deck.

Matt I its not worth 4 colour for 1 card. It messes up your mana base and generally does more harm than good. For another example look at the mtg goldfish and their treasure deck.

Is it just me, or because of the way +1/+1 counters and -1/-1 counters interact, Mimic + Initiate might be a non-bo? I️ think the way it would work is if you have Mimic in play and then cast Initiate, the +1/+1 counter would go on, then 3 (or, in this case, 2) -1/-1 counters would go on it because the first one offsets? I’m pretty sure that’s how it works.

Not true. Rule 121.3 states that “If a permanent has both a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter on it, N +1/+1 counters and N -1/-1 counters are removed from it as a State-based action, where N is the smaller of the number of +1/+1 counters and -1/-1 counters on it.” So in this example, if you play a Channeler Initiate with a Metallic Mimic already out, then Channeler Initiate will in fact be a 3/4 with 2 -1/-1 counters on it, and only be able to make mana twice.

Reza yeah it's a deck already. Check for miracle grow in standard. Some play temur for blossoming defence and deeproot champion but lots of r/u builds using riddleform out there too. The deck makes me miss Bedlam Reveler though...

Gonna put this together, BUT! I am adding in white. Because there are some relevant white humans that I believe should be in the deck. 1: Renegade Rallier - since the majority of our creatures are 2 mana, having something die to blocks, and then bringing it back with Renegade Rallier, with a chance of another ETB effect. 2: Glory-Bound Initiate - This card can be so swingy in games. Having a 4/4 lifelinker attacking is a real threat whether it be this format or any other. The life buffer gives you a better game 1 against Ramunap Red and it's a solid two drop overall. 3: Tocatli Honor Guard : This card is underrated, so much. It work so well with your other creatures that have -1 -1 counters on them coming in. I'm thinking of using a few more -1 -1 counter matter cards, like exemplar of strength. This card makes that a 2 mana 4/4. This also makes our mana dork a 2 mana 3/4. It's also good against enemy energy decks. No energy from servant of the conduit, Rogue refiner, or whirler virtuoso. That's what I have in mind and I don't mind having it be 5 colours. we have attune with either and evolving wilds is always a good card for mana fixing. Could even work with Field of Ruin and perhaps the one outlier in the deck as Aven mind-censor to hose opponents. Great deck regardless. I love how your decks always bring about so much innovation in the ideas that are churning in my mind and then it actually allows me to put them on a template and make a deck truely my own that has a good strong base. Keep up the amazing work!

The mana dork needs to have -1/-1 counters to produce mana, as it removes the counters for mana. So while you get a 3/4 for 2 mana, you lose the mana ramp for it. Think the guard is better sb for god-pharoah's gift and energy decks, but if you have mb space for it sure.

You are correct, I should have been more clear with where I wanted to put the creatures lol Yes the Honor Guard was meant for the sideboard, the Initiate and Rallier would be main board, But i just think having that over the Harsh Mentors main board would be a better choice. Mentor would come in against decks that use Vehicles and It's a decent card against Temur decks. Taking 2 damage and using 3 energy to create a 1/1 flyer is not something anyone would be okay with lol

I think white has some really good humans in standard also that may be better than the red creatures played here. Glory bound initiate, renegade rallier, kambal. Possibly going w/g/r and more aggressive with gb initiate celebrant, Kari, voltaic?

You get 2 combat celebrants out on the table you can attack endlessly. It would be a permanent loop of attacks. Assuming, of course, if your creatures can survive each attack. I need 3 more combat celebrants.

Towards the beginning. There were way too many two drops and red is the hardest mana to make (especially as early as turn 2), so she came out after a few games
