Love the deck! But is there any chance you'd take a look at UW Starfield Control? I mean, Lunar Force, Imprisoned in the Moon, Myth Realized, Stasis Snare, Silkwrap... There's a lot of support there for a grindy control deck, that also happens to be in the colours of Spell Queller and Reflector Mage. :P

im really interested in your take on the planeswalker deck you had listed in your top 10, possibly maybe a revisited version of your naya midrange deck tech. I have been using that one, however due to not having much strength on early defense on speedy decks Im gonna go with the american eldrazi setup you made. Thinking of adding thalia and 2 nahiri's wrath to it. I would like to use the naya midrange for the new meta in the future though, I did enjoy the gameplay of it.

Why is there no Invocation of Saint Traft in any of the versions? I play U/W Spirits all the time and the power that card gives to this deck is very hard to ignore. Unless you run into the mirror, very few decks play any flyers at all. T1- Mausoleum Wanderer, T2- Attack with MW-play Rattlechains, T3- Play Invocation on Rattlechains, attack with all. That damage stacks up fast

Nicely constructed deck. I think some variant of spirits will be top tier in standard. My bets are on blue/white or possibly bant or jeskia spirits, green/black or possibly Jund or Abzan Delerium and Rakdos madness vampires being the new stand-out shells in standard. Also possibly some sort of Grixis madness control.

With CoCo Elves soon rotating, I was looking for a reasonably costed deck that is similar and this is perfect. It's tribal, it's synergy based and it is fun. Will try a middleground between the two decks but keeping it towards the tempo end of the spectrum.

would you recommend taking out clutch of currents for reflector mage in the budget deck? while it does raise the mana curve slightly, it does give bounce still, and another body to attack early with, or also block if worse comes to worse.

Tempo spirits reminds me of tempo faeries and I like tempo faeries, so I think I might upgrade the budget deck a little and give it a shot. Obviously all the dual lands are doing in, but what do you all think I should trade out for some spell quellers?

Bant spirits (Spirit CoCo) is already a thing. However, the tribal gets a few support cards that don't work well while being targeted with CoCo. Also, permeating mass is fringe.

So, what do you guys think of taking out the higher cost cards, and putting in Collected Company? I know it's rotating out and expensive. But it's a really good card and works well in this deck. I've been testing it out, and you can sideboard out the collected company's to go into the higher cost more midrange version.

I've been working on an Abzan Aggro deck. Essentially a discard deck that plays a bunch of high value creatures that get better as the game progresses. If you're interested in showcasing the list feel free to adjust it as you see fit, along with creating a sideboard yourself, as I can't finalize mine. The only thing I ask is that you keep the core strategy of the deck around. I personally like the idea of upgrading the budget deck with the dual lands and spell queller and reflector mage (best spirit in stadard lets be real) instead of going for the full midrange. I love playing tempo, I play faeries in modern, and so playing the more powerful version of the budget deck seems like where I'd wanna go. It just seems more fun, to me. Plus, it is affected much less from rotation, only losing a few pieces in two months, unlike the competitive deck which loses its key pieces like ojutai. People have also talked about bant spirits, which seems fun but then again most of your guys have flash anyways, but still collected company is just insanely powerful ether way to not consider it as a thing.

If you essence Flux a Spell Queller while its ETB trigger is on the stack, the spell it exiles stays exiled (just don't target the spell with the second ETB trigger).

I personally think that running spectral shepherd with spell queller is a must. Past turn 5 it gives you a reusable counterspell for anything 4 or less.

I would play Displace instead of Eerie Interlude. Displace blinks 2 creatures for instant ETBs, while Eerie Interlude is a delay blink which has some problems. If you do it during your opponent's turn, your creatures comeback during their endstep. If you do it during the opponent's endstep they come back at your endstep. Basically Eerie Interlude is great but it's mostly a sideboard card vs Languish imo. Displace creates bigger tempo swings.

Also unsubstantiate is a must for the tempo oriented version imo. I would play it over Cluth of Currents any day of the week.
