@@MagicAids If you trim the last few frames of the animation and then copy-paste it, you could probably remove that stop. It might take a bit to find the right frame to cut at such that it doesn't look jittery, but as soon as you've found it, you could export that specific duration of the animation as its own clip and forever-forward just drag forward.

I knew the ballsack had real potential. So many ways to cheat around the exile 6 cost, but even if you can't, there are so many ways to fill your graveyard early. I'm definitely looking forward to a version 2 of this deck. Vial does feel like it might just be too slow, since you pretty much always want it on 2 or 3, so not having it turn 1 makes it so much worse.

You know what card works crazy well with Manifest? Repeal XU Instant Return target nonland permanent with mana value X to its owner's hand. Draw a card. That way, you can put noncreature stuff on the battlefield face down, and pull it back to hand to cast it when you no longer need it as a 2/2.
@DrMonty-ng5fo3 ай бұрын
That's...a really terrible synergy? For 1 mana, you're drawing 2 cards, at the cost of losing a creature. You could do the same with village rites, but village rites also works well with bloodghast/stitcher's supplier. The strength of Manifest is making a 2/2. It's generally not worth it to try to turn that 2/2 into something else.

It can be an easy way of saving a creature from a board wipe. Niche but still notable

Back when Fate Reforged came out, I had a deck that used the Manifest mechanic to try to put Eater of Days on the battlefield face down, then turn it face up for 4 mana to bypass its horrifying ETB drawback. Jace the Mind Sculptor was great for making that happen. It would pair well with Abhorrent Oculus, to allow you to put an Abhorrent Oculus from your hand on top of your library, and Manifest it with another Oculus to get around its prohibitive casting cost.
