She's a spirit, not a personification of death. It was changed a while back. There's other spirits that do the same job. It's impressive but not as impressive as you make it out to be. Spirits aren't that strong.

@@ShadowHunter31 You're misunderstanding something really big about spirits, and what Kindred really is, he's not a normal spirit he is a spirit god, and those have a different power level depending on how many people believe in them, since everyone believe in death Kindred is actually more powerful than any other being in the lore, except maybe Aurelion Sol or maybe Mask Mother (since a theory says it's his mother or at least is a primordial god). So even if it's true that Kindred is not the only spirit god of death, is the one that most people believe in, so doesn't matter if Kindred is not the only spirit of death, since it's the most powerful of all of them because of the believing factor. Not to mention that Fiddlesticks is also one of the most powerful being in League of Legends lore and he is also a spirit god, and both of them are way more powerful than the other spirit gods. So yeah, Tryndamere being able to fight death itself is as impressive as benley said.

​@@yargolocus4853 that's a massive assumption. Olaf could just be a super stud. Riven beats multiple dudes 3x her size, it's not like we're seeing 'normal' people. Olaf thinks he's fated to die old, and that means you assume he's conceptually incapable of dying before his time and not just Gotrek v2, or Druss. The death seeker isn't an uncommon trope, and any who is uncommonly bad ass becomes Olaf, except League has a static lore problem, so he never gets his ending. To name a few, some still ongoing. Szeth, Maquin, literally every Space Marine main character, most of the guardsmen for that matter, some viking saga characters(duh) and just the general idea of Berserkers with regards to going out covered in guts, characters like Túrin Turambar are another spin on this, fated to unquiet deaths they don't deserve. Gotrek Gurnisson is the most obvious modern literary preceeding parallel though. Dwarves are more or less fantasy vikings, and a slayer is a dwarf whose personal failure, percieved or otherwise, calls them to seek redemption through their own death in battle. Gotrek is the worst slayer, utterly incapable of dying even to what is in more ways than one Aatrox father. Stout, red haired, bearded, mohawk rocking, only bling as armour wearing mfer so good at killing anything he sets his sights on that he can't complete his actual goal, losing a fight to the death. Actually a lot of this lore shit makes sense now that I think about it, because some of League's most notable writers came to it from Black Library. But yeah, big ramble. Point being, Olaf isn't guaranteed unkillable. Most of these arcs end with the MC who is trying to die or failing to die when he really should already be, dying. It's just that LoL doesn't have significantly advancing lore and hence Olaf doesn't seem likely to ever reach his end point.

Necrit lore explaination of cinematics. The whole theme is "StillHere", referencing Kindred who is DeathIncarnate. Whether it's the Past (Morgana &Kayle), Present (Tryndamere), and Future (OldMan Yasuo). Death is "Still Here" no matter whattime it is. You can see Kindred in the Fires of thePast destroying Aatrox, Facing Tryndamere, andShooting a Fatal Arrow at Old Man Yasuo in thehead.

Since you like yordles I would love to see your reaction to "Pentakill: Mortal Reminder" Pentakill is the LoL metal band and in this video they do a show in Bandopolis (home of yordles). Also a little lore for the last cinematic: The Bearded guy is Tryndamere and he is canonic married to ashe (both names for rioters that are married), When tryndamere eyes are red he is immortal. He is fighting The Kindred (Wolf and Sheep), Kindred represents death, if you accept death the Sheep takes you, if you resist the Wolf hunts you. Tryndamere was still fighting for his life against the soldiers so he started to fight against death, once ashe saves him he no longer are threatened by death so The Kindred disapears.

The lore behind Kindred makes the last cinematic so much better when you know it. Kindred represents death. If you accept your death you die by Lamb's arrow (swift and merciful) but if you don't accept death you will be torn apart slowly and painfully by Wolf, either way you die. Right at the end of old Yasuo's scene, you can see Kindreds silhouette in the forest ahead of him and it ends with Lamb's arrow flying straight into the camera. Basically Yasuo fought his demons and was living a peaceful life until he had to fight at the end to protect his village before accepting his death. Tryndamere on the otherhand doesn't accept death so he's fighting against Wolf until Ashe shows up and Kindred leaves because it's no longer his time to die. He's not actually fighting Wolf though, in reality he's fighting the enemies that you see around him but the fact that Kindred is there means he was definitely going to die until Ashe showed up and Wolf was a representation of all the enemies slowly killing him.

Ooooof...what a ride through time! Been with this game since the beta but looking back at it, a lot has changed. For context on the Yone/Yasuo cinematics, it's not that Yasuo didn't see the demon, but he refused to. It's his inner demon, his guilt, his burden. The demon said "As long as he lives, I will return", meaning the guilty Yasuo carries will always manifest in some ways, always chasing him from behind. At the end, Yasuo turned around to face his inner demon. Yone helped to sever its link to his brother, freeing him from the nightmare. In a sense, Yasuo was "forgiven" but now he carried another new burden: finding his own purpose.

When you asked if they made characters and then retired them, my instant thought was "no, but they fucking should lmao." Probably will have to start doing that / create new ranked gamemodes with limited champions / allow each player more bans at some point, because the amount of champions is getting quite absurd. I took a break for 2-3 years and I there was like 25 new champions I had no clue what they did once I returned, imagine coming in as a completely new player and having to learn everything from scratch.

there is a whole series about league characters not sure if made by Riot or fans or if it ever got translated from i think it was chinese or japanese maybe korean to english didn't understand what they were saying remember an episode when Riven on the run from noxus hid inside Gayzreals place (i mean Ezreal) he finds her and agrees to hide her if she works for him ... as a waitress wearing a bunny suit then she gets hit on by Twisted Fate and just as she has had enough of it and is about to smack TF the door swings open hits her and knocks her down .There are more ep. this is the one i remember was a long time since i saw it that now i don't remember where i saw them.

lil comment to clarify that the "volibears" in the calls are actualy ursine shapeshifters, forgot the actual name but those are present in runeterra, there are some who are bears, and some others, i think it also has a connection to udyr's spirit stances but can't tell for sure, kinda forgot about udyr's lore. volibear is like the size of a damn mountain so yeah, not him.

Always remember, Thresh's best build is Wife Steal. 1:19:30 A bit of nuance that gets lost on non-lore buffs, Vayne doesn't mean the corruption, she means the half dragon part, because Vayne sees all non-humans, including most Yordles, as pests at best and deserving of death on average.

still here the last one that was watched is even better with lore of the characters. kindred was present in every scene whether it was lamb, wolf, or both. Kindred is death itself in the league universe and hunts down people to send their spirit to the other side. if they willingly accept their fate lamb executes them peacefully with an arrow like the one at the end of yasuo's scene. if they try to run from death wolf hunts them down and gruesomely kills them. in the final scene with tryndamere theres 2 soldiers about to kill him but he has the power to defy death for a period of time which is why both lamb and wolf were attacking him bc kindred themselves are unsure how tryndamere will pass on. tryndamere tho fights off death long enough for ashe to come to the rescue and save him by killing the 2 soldiers with the crystal arrows that fly past lamb so he gets to live another day

One of the incredible things they did with Annie's backstory recently is that her pyromantic powers are actually not that strong. But instead her Teddybear is possessed by a fire demon called Tybaulk, who whispered it's name into Annie's ear. But being a 4 or 5 year old, she doesn't register is completely and thinks her Teddy is instead called Tibbers. Meanwhile Tybaulk is empowering Annie and trying to get her strong enough so that she can unleash it's true form.
