Shota simply one of the best to ever play. Period.

Sheoldred is such a great card

Takumi missed a counter on thalias lieutenant in game 1 that would have made it a 5/5 and big enough to trade with sheoldred. He likely would have won had he not missed it (he played a brutal Cathar and another lieutenant which should have made it a 4/4 but he missed the Cathar counter, then next turn he played a hopeful initiate which would make it a 5/5, instead it was a 4/4 and sheoldred ate it)

Bro, I just triple checked… and no he could not have made it a 5/5. However, that missed counter ended up trading with a goblin token instead of it being a 3/3 and making it chump

@@Scoob3rs @Jay P at 8:20, he has a 1/1 thalia's lieutenant in play. He plays a brutal cathar which is a human and puts a counter on the lieutenant, then plays another lieutenant which puts 2 counters on the first one, one for being a human and one for the lieutenant trigger to put a counter on all humans you control. This makes the first lieutant a 4/4. Except he misses one of the counters, instead of being a 4/4 its only a 3/3. Then at 9:32, he plays a hopeful initiate, which would have made the first lieutenant a 5/5 except he missed a counter, and thus sheoldred can eat it for free

@@davidkaminsky2828 Ok just seen it, I thought you were talking about the order he played the cards. Idk how Takumi/judges didnt notice. That changed the whole game
@moisesdavidvelasquezgutier1787 Жыл бұрын
@@davidkaminsky2828 u are completely right. That would change the whole game and even the entire match, since they have to play at least 3 games and not only 2.

@@Scoob3rs Not up to the judges to notice those kinds of triggers. Triggers you control that are beneficial to you are supposed to be noticed by you, like Sheoldred's gaining life from a draw, if you miss it, you miss it.

How does this interaction work? He made 5 or 6 copies of reflection in Takumi's end step. But only 1 left the battlefield during the end step. How was he able to untap with all of the other copies?
@PolarBear0848 ай бұрын
@@ik4222I know I'm late to the game on this one, but just in case anyone else was wondering; Reflection of Kiki-Jiki's ability states "Create a Token that's a copy of another non-legendary token you control, except it has haste. Sacrifice it at the Beginning of the next end step." So because that first copy was made during combat, it had to be sacrificed once the end step began. However since the rest of the tokens were created AFTER the beginning of Takumi's end step triggered, they got to survive until the NEXT "Beginning of End Step" trigger, so they would live until Shota's end step. So that's why Shota only had to sacrifice one of the tokens during that play, the one that was created before the end step started.

Takumi missed lethal game 1. He couldn't removed 2 counters from thalia to kill the enchantment creature, activated mutavault and swung in with the squad right?

The goblin token from Fable's chapter 1 is not an enchantment creature, just a regular creature
@kememe9559 Жыл бұрын
@@kennyfung5826 Ahhh ok, the flipped version of Fable is the enchantment. Confused the two, thanks. Makes sense that Takumi wouldn't make the mistake and I would.
