I would disagree, considering what cards are good enough to have a play set of and which ones you need to cut and then add cards that just work. It’s harder then it seems, however, if you’re good at it that’s great but for me at least it’s relatively hard to do

Ahh Hypersonic Dragon!! I miss that card. Used to think it was overpowered when I was growing up haha. My favorite cards are Courser of Kruphix and Huntmaster of the Fells, I love ramping and I love making tokens Oh and of course, who can forget Arachnus Spinner?

It's hard to pick a favorite creature. I like Doran, he was my first Commander. Tymaret, the Murder King is a good time, I played him in the short lived Tiny Leaders as well as Murder Goats and a deck I called Heavy Metal I took a Gameday with. Much like Phil, I'm also a value fan, so Risen Reef is high up there and among the best creatures in my Elemental Tribal commander deck... There are a lot of sweet creatures in Magic.

Dude! Loved that bonus game, HATE that cheap Haven/Book combo! (I once played a red direct dmg deck, my opp played this combo, I continued the assault, then blew up his haven! So rewarding!) lol, I have pretty much exactly the same deck assembled in historic for like 1 year now. that thing is fun as hell. you really need some Pitiless Plunderers there.... they're absolutely bananas with Chatterfang.... the sheer amount of times that little dude just saved me from losing the game because alongside chatterfang it's pretty much just a one sided boardwipe is amazing. lol. This deck nets a surprisingly high win rate om the ladder... mine is pretty close to 60%.

To answer your question it’s probably Phylath, World Sculptor. Was my first commander I made for a deck and I like landfall abilities. I guess Avenger of Zendikar is also my favorite since it functions the same as Phylath but goes wide instead of tall
