Love the new perspective from Crim. Nothing against Tomer but I like seeing multiple peoples building philosophy.

I freaking love commander. I really tuned my Anowon in a completely different direction, really focusing on beatdown, card draw and graveyard disruption as opposed to grave steal. I love that yours is different than mine, and no matter the commander everyone's deck is unique

Thieving Skydiver can steal 0-mana artifacts but you just still have to pay 1 for X.

Since it's Crim doing a Deck Tech, the first thing I looked at was the number of lands then the ramp. It looks good, but somehow I still worry for the man.

Crim's decks always draw as if they have 6 lands less than however many are actually in the deck, lol.

the first deck I built for EDH had 33 lands and 4 pieces of ramp. Now, 10 years later and Thada Adel has 32 lands and 7 ramp.

@@abheekpandya8717 I built a version of this deck a while ago and got to play a few games with it finally over the weekend. Skimping out on ramp seems to be the way to go and I'll explain. From what I've seen, at least in my version, I almost always want cheap evasive rogues early so that when I play anowon, I'm getting value of his triggers asap. In other words, i was happier when i had a 1 and 2 drop creature over a 1 or 2 drop mana rock most of the time.
@DaKareerKilla4 жыл бұрын
Am I misreading the rules text on Thieving Skydiver, or does the "X can't be 0" statement apply to its kicker cost, and its triggered ability? The way I initially read it, if X=1 for example, it can target an Artifact with 0 CMC because 0 is less than or equal to 1, but maybe I'm mistaken.
@T_Peazy4 жыл бұрын
It says " x cannot be zero" but it also says "an artifact of cmc X or less"

Crim, i love the video style with showcasing the cards and then editing so it has a slide presentation feeling! hope to see more videos from you like this. Also loved the special effect "very cool" when showing the bitterblossom!!!! simple but really very cool. i admire your playstyle of "fair magic" in commander. not like tomer with all his combos :P

I have to advocate for Coat of Arms in a list where your creatures are unblockable
@oom-32624 жыл бұрын
I have to advocate against it. Maybe my playgroup is too tribal oriented. But when I'm playing both against krenko and Edgar, it suddenly feels like I'm literally hanging myself.

Coat is death in a tribal meta. Rather use Door of Destinies and build up from there.
@shinsua_3 жыл бұрын
@@MitsuSC This is why I say in a deck where you're playing unblockable creatures. It's a very good alpha strike enabler, so long as you don't get fogged

34+3 Lands and only 4 Mana rocks? Damn Crim, that's ... brave! Personally, I play a "small tribal creatures" deck for my clerics (obviously aristocrats), but even there I play 38 Lands and I think 3-4 Mana rocks. And I still manage to get mana screwed since it draws so many cards I just don't know how to play them all (Tymna+Ravos as commanders does that). So yeah, hope it works out for you, but I'd add 4 Lands and play the MDFCs in their spell slot. Also, I really like that you split of into a special channel for EDH content! Makes the bell easier to ring, since I'm not terribly interested in Standard for example (still kept the Bell on for the "main" channel since Ilike Against the Odds), and this way it's easier to curate the notifications.

How about Earwig Squad for Prowl cost finding and removing 3 cards from enemy library; Rootwater Thief attacking and paying 2 to find and remove one card from enemy library; Faerie Macabre and Nezumi Graverober to response an grave spell from enemy?

Crim, what do you think of replacing Gonti with Thief of Sanity in this deck? You would lose one Rogue and the ability to recast Gonti after swapping him back to your hand with a ninja or zareth. But lower your average cmc and mill your opponents more. This deck has lots of evasion already to get your stuff to deal combat damage.

Constructive critique: a couple of times you said things like "this was given to me" and "you can see this". Many folks listen to videos but aren't looking at the screen as they listen, so if you want to ensure folks know what you are talking about you have to explain more clearly. Otherwise this was a cool deck tech w some sweet blinged card versions
