When it comes to EDH, blue struggles to do what it does best, which is controlling the opposition. We're talking three opponents and a total of 120 life, compared to the one opponent and 20 life in duels (not to mention three 99-card decks, which also nerfs milling strategies). In addition to that, the one copy of a card rule makes it harder for blue to always have the best answers every time.
@Devilish4202 жыл бұрын
That's why you really gotta combine it with other colors to get more outta blue itself, imo.

I don't think a mistform ultimus deck is really representative of how good blue is in general

@@eboling2008 I believe he explained in the way early videos that nobody plays cEDH decks in his videos. They’re all meant to be casual, and Mistform is as casual as you can get with mono blue. Unless you do Kami of the Crescent Moon group hug.

Green is definitely good but more than that I feel like your Mistform deck is ... Pretty adorable ahah. I love seeing you playing it again and again and I can feel the passion for this deck. I feel like it plays a bit too fair to really be a menace but that's probably one of the reasons why I like it that much !

For edh I think green is stronger than blue. Blue's better in a shorter game but edh goes longer so green gets the advantage. Especially since it has land ramp, and blue has the worst ramp of all the colours.
@aw-qs6wt2 жыл бұрын
Blue is the strongest color. It's the only color, that reasonably interacts with the stack. However, if you don't play a powerful wincon, it becomes difficult to end the game. Green creatures are way bigger.

Green used to lack card draw and removal. More fight mechanics and draw cards have popped up over last few years. Great Henge, Guardian project and Garruk's uprising were game changers. White does a lot better now and days, Red seems to play the same explosive turns and has much more impulse draw, Blue? does better in 1v1, There are some good mill/alt wincon options now though.

White does a lot better but many of the good white cards in this sense are very expensive

Green does too many things. WOTC keeps giving green new toys every set. I feel like Green is still easily the most powerful color in EDH. It has card draw, creatures, tutors, ramp, removal etc. It just does too many things that other colors need to do but with extra steps.

I have a question about Grothama that I'd love to get answered because I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. If you give Grothama hexproof can your opponents creatures still fight it. Grothama gives all creatures a triggered ability but is is still a targeted ability?

How did Grenzo put ob-nixilis into play on turn 7?

Grenzo puts creatures into play with power less than or equal to its own. Grenzo had two counters on it making it a 4/4 and he knew Ob was on the bottom from the Charbelcher.

Nothing is more inhumanely boring than watch a mono green deck be piloted. Magic for simpletons
@ssxecho2 жыл бұрын
No offense but saying mono green is powerful is a bit of an overstatement here. It was T11, with no significant plays from other players at the table beside a sad bounce with no follow up as often when clearing a board. So you end up being the last to rebuild. Eleven turns barely touching its board for a beat down mono green deck, thank god he won.
