I would have liked to have seen Mat's deck play out more. It seems really unique. Clearly the table saw it as a threat since they wouldn't leave Durnan alone.

They fear my humans Edit : If you wanna know what the deck does its a human tribal. The goal is mainly to attack, remove counters from my stuff and boardwipe in postcombat to kill all creatures and trigger my undying. It also requires a surprising amount of brain power to play as well.

This is the type of EDH game I like to be a part of. Cool interactions, haymakers flying everywhere, big critters getting in the red zone. Love it. Also, Aether Snap + undying is total gas.

I had my rakdos goblins built with Judith at the helm but have since switched to Ms. Fist and she’s so good. 3 toughness sucks but that sweet sweet card draw is just what my ugly little children need.

a Garna deck!? that's one you don't see everyday, but I really liked that commander when it was revealed. wish I could build a Berserker tribal/sacrifice deck around it, but alas the tribe isn't very well supported.

My Shorikai Vehicles deck is my favorite one to bust out for a nice casual game. Vehicles are not super powerful but they can be fun to play and can catch people off guard. The new vehicles from the WH40K set really bring a vehicle theme into a higher tier.

I think grim hireling only draws marneus 1 card as it's any instance of one or more tokens created. Also, cool assortment of commanders

Madness has double strike. He makes 2 tokens on first strike, then 2 tokens on normal damage.

Aether Snap is such an underrated card. It removes all kind of counters (bye bye Ikoria) The amount of counters and TOKENS (Be it creature, or treasures) is insane in commander. I love this card in my mono black deck.

Hey Andrew! Have you considered Unwinding Clock for Shorikai??? I think it would be a fantastic addition to the deck since you can give your vehicles pseudo vigilance and activate Shorikai on each of your opponents turns (assuming you have an artifact mana source)

I think Urza, Powerstone Prodigy can be really good in Shorikai Deck. Though he might slot better into big artifact reanimation strategy, by ramping you into reanimation targets

Correct me if I'm wrong but when the overloaded Damn resolved, shouldn't it that mean that Reassembling Skeleton would not be able to regen? This would lead to a very different match if this was missed.

Reassembling doesn't regen. It has the ability to return itself from the graveyard for 1B.

The play where Mat sacrifices the random dash creature to then beast within a scullclamp when he could've sacrificed the druid of purification and saved the beast within seems... bad. Like I get that he got to keep the dashed minion because of the undying, but saving the removal spell seems like way more valuable

Yeah so many people mix up his draw trigger. It's a separate draw for each separate instance of creating tokens, NOT drawing for each token created. People at my LGS get sad when I point that out, but then proceed to still draw like 6 or 7 cards a turn either way cuz of all the token creation triggers, so I'm not too worried about giving them some bad news.

When the rakdos player put the tainted peak into play he didnt have a swamp. So he didnt have enough black to play the abomination and bring the skeleton back on the end step.

We didn't go that far, allowing it from turn 3 onwards instead. It still feels strong, just not degenerate.
