Yeah, I assumed he would use something else, contextually it did sound like the Veto was being used defensively, meaning it was protecting something else on the stack cast by the opponent who was trying Azorius, meaning the Dismissal (if that was the case) would hit both the Veto and the original spell (which was from Remy's opponent), making it pretty salty.

This song is singlehandedly responsible for me getting into Azorius Control decks lately

Fun fact: In Legacy (I play local tournaments but went to some 700+ players tournaments from time to time), the most played deck when I started and for a few years after that was Miracles, an Azorius ultra-control deck that often went to time during game two or sometimes even game one... The main tool of the deck was Sensei's Divining Top and Counterbalance (with all the traditional Legacy blue cantrips and free counterspells, with like one or two cards in the deck that was their kill), and since most Legacy decks have a REALLY low curve, it was an insane deck. It had a 55-70% win rate against almost every decks in the meta. Except against Goblins, which I play since I started Legacy XD Goblins had a 80%+ win rate against Miracles, because we have uncounterable creatures (Cavern of Souls, and/or Goblin Lackey/Aether Vial if it passed their Force of Will turn 1), many refills (Goblin Matron into Goblin Ringleader was the most powerful turn against Miracles), land control (Wasteland and Rishadan Port) so they couldn't use their mana well while we just put Gobbos into play with Lackey or Vial, and many silver bullets fetchable with Matron. We had just too much stuff that they couldn't deal with, or only with bad trades (a Terminus against a Matron, a Mogg War Marshall and its token and a Ringleader hitting them for five a turn was a terrible trade for them, as we could just Matron a Ringleader back to refill; or a Swords to Plowshare against my 1-drop Goblin Lackey) and if we bode our time and didn't flood the board too much without a backup plan in hand (risking a Terminus), it was an easy win. Which meant that ironically in big tournaments Round 1 was THE most important one to win for me, as if I won I would have more chance to play against Miracle players as I climb higher, while if I lost I would play other types of decks where I would lose more often. I had MORE chance of winning the higher I was, unlike most other decks. Well, they killed Miracles when they banned Top, but it was a fun few years.

Just for fun, I decided to see how many Hallowed Fountains Remy had, according to his financial report at 1:30. Remy has $7,279 worth of Hallowed Fountains. Using TCGPlayer and going back to see the market price as of May 17th, 2023, the price given for the week of the 16th is $11.55. Little bit of basic division, and we get... 632.956 Hallowed Fountains, or, rounded properly, 633 Hallowed Fountains. No wonder his blood type is Azorious.

I went onto MtG goldfish to see Hallowed Fountain prices. Adding up a playset of every printing I could find came out to about 4400$. My man's got 7279$ worth of them.
