Firstly, Taemin has been solo for a few years now, and it makes it even worse knowing one of the members from his group committed suicide. He needed healing, and having all these new members has clearly made him happier. Next, Taeyong. Do you know how many responsibilities he had and still has in NCT? He’s always being looked up to by his younger members, and he’s basically the leader of NCT as well, including all sub-units. He’s always the main visual, main dancer, main rapper, sub-vocalist. He needs a break, and you can tell he looks more at ease in SuperM. He can act more childish and not have to bear so many responsibilities. Baekhyun on the other hand, got to experience what it was like to finally be more responsible and mature. Of course he’s still the same old Baekhyun, but I think it’s helped him a lot with seeing things from a new perspective, and he probably feels proud from being the oldest, where the members rely on him. Mark and Kai were able to reunite from meeting as trainees back then, and got to become even closer, along with Lucas. Ten was able to dance with some of the best, if not the best dancers of Kpop. (Taemin often talked about Ten and how talented Ten is, so it was a great opportunity) He was also able to make new friends, like all of them have. You may be extremely biased towards EXO, but please be respectful of all the members and their groups. They all work equally hard, and you honestly don’t know how much happier the members look these days after SuperM was created.
