Before my implant, I foolishly wasted a lot of money on Gainswave and P-Shot treatments looking for that magic bullet to treat my ED.

There's a lot of snake oil out there. That's why it's important to see medical professionals and dedicated implanters.

Dr Perito I was wondering how the electronic implant would affect the size postoperatively. With the current generation doctors leave the implants partially inflated postoperatively, and they advocate for early activation and aggresive cycling. If an eImplant doesn't allow for partial inflation and early aggresive cycling, then wouldn't the post-op penis be smaller with the eImplant (as opposed to a normal implant)

Dr. Perito, I’ve binge watched your videos with some renewed hope for my problem. I’m 72 and I’ve had peyronies for over 10 years. With a bend of 60% it has definitely affected my quality of life. I also have BPH and will probably have the green light therapy done for that given that my urethra is quite restricted and I assume is the reason for painful orgasms. Yeah, my plate is full. Plication is an option to reduce the bend but I don’t know to what degree. Pun not intended. Here’s the big question. Are implants a good option for me? Btw, I believe that my erect size prior to peyronies was 4 1/2” to maybe 5”. Thanks in advance for any help. Jim

How about the Nitinol implant?

Unsure if I want to try this for undiagnosed penis pain for 8 months and some mild Ed I had before that from likely ssris I took for too long. Pelvic floor exercise and abstinence don't have much of an effect. No urologist wants to scan me, I guess the needle used is to much risk of fibrosis.. I dunno. Shockwave only remedy I've been offered so far...

They better call it the “IBone” (Think I’ll go trademark that)

I tried shockwave therapy at two different clinics. I was hoping to make my ED disappear instead all that disappeared was my money.

Depends the machine. Has to be Doulith SD1, Medispec ED100, Piezowave, Urogold100 and Renova Direx. Not the radial wave like G...wave.

Hi Dr. Perito, I had 6 shock wave treatments and afterwords I did notice that I could achieve erections easier but I also found out to my dismay that my erections were significantly shorter and the girth of my penis was significantly smaller. Have you ever heard of this happening to other patients? I certainly was not advised that it was a possible complication of the procedure. Thanks

Buyer beware when it comes to shockwave therapy. It induces a growth factor that causes Peyronie’s disease (find out more about it here: peritourology.com/peyronies-disease/) . My guess is the provider was not a board-certified urologist with a dedicated men’s health approach.

@@DrPaulPerito donot Peyronie disease go away on its own after few months as I have heard or maybe read?
