Just got back from pulling a double at work. Needed a good Banished playthrough. I'm so happy I found you. Gonna watch all your stuff now.

Ended my save yesterday with my population of 30 crumbling under starvation and fully expecting to start a new map. But after watching just these last 3 episodes I learned a lot of important little things and somehow managed to get up to 170 population and a thriving food reserve! Thanks for making these!

Stronghold 2 and Anno games don't have different seasonal weather like Banished does. 👍🙌

Hold on, didn't you say earlier that students are considered adults and can move out as soon as there's space available? If so, why are you waiting until they become educated laborers before you build a new house for them?

Perhaps because that would increase the birth rate and thereby produce a larger demographic that only provides a negative contribution to the economy.

Love this let's play, but i have two questions. How do you rotate your houses so they all look the same? And I thought you're not supposed to put forest lodge and gatherers, hunters and herbalist together cause they need to be in old, dens forests?

you can press F to change the building model while R and T to rotate the building. while it is true that herbalist got herbals from the old trees, foresters did not remove EVERY old trees in vicinity and hunters will not loose prey from lack of old trees. the deer normally will avoid highly populated area like houses and markets; also, the hunters can roam outside their area but not far.
