The 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour introduced me to a lot of comedians before they got famous. John's Nyquil joke has always been one of my favorite jokes of all time. Old school Nyquil was some potent stuff.

My dad gave me NyQuil when I was in middle school, I woke up before it had run it's course and remember feeling really off, waved my hand in front of my face, and i could see images of my hand as it moved back and forth. Didn't take that stuff again until I was in college

I can't believe I didn't know who pinnette was until the early 2000's. to me, louie anderson was the only fat funny comedian for decades. but pinette was right there with him. pinette should of been huge. maybe he didn't get a lot of movie or tv opportunities that could have made him much more famous.
