I sure do miss this too!! I was watching every single show back in those days!! I recognize this one! My teenyears wre quite hard and boring and I remember how I came home from school and felt sad and down and I put on MTV most wanted and it cheered me up!! What ever happened to Ray any way??? I never found him again after the last MTV most wanted!? I love Ray!! He is brilliant!!

It's Ray's fault that I learned English at the age of 8! We got MTV on TV at that time and my big sister always used to watch Most wanted. I couldn't understand one word, so I watched it over and over again, until I knew what he was talking about ^^ Thanks to MTV's Ray for great Music Television moments XD

I sometimes wonder whether it's just me getting older, but not in this case. MTV, Bravo, Sci-Fi etc were all miles better back then! MTV in the 90's was brilliant! Imaginative and fun. I loved the animated bumpers/channel ads, the presenters, the shows, the music.. pretty much everything. I know the internet hasn't helped, but surely TV has more to offer nowadays!?

This show was blinkin awesome and so so funny. At the time, SKY was considered a luxury so I used to watch it at my mates house. I'm all grown up now with kids and during a 5 minute moment of peace and remeniscence I had a flashback about this fella / programme. Through the power of You tube a scratching of the head and a search engine I found him.

"Most Wanted" and "Real World" played a major role for me as a German kid who was trying to get a grip on the English language. Maybe that's why my generation is called by some the "MTV Generation". Today, of course, that would be unthinkable. TV is dead and MTV's deterioration helped to kill it, IMO.

I remember watching this show when I was 12 or 13 and could hardly understand what was the big deal^^. Watching MTV Europe improved my English a lot, and it was a great loss when there was MTV Germany all of a sudden--sad what happened to MTV anyway...

@meadish Agreed. I stopped watching shortly after MTV split up. MTV UK was nowhere near as good. It didn't just bring a bit of British culture and lanuage to Europe, It brought a bit of mainland European culture to the UK. It should have never worked but it did and it was brilliant. When it became MTV UK, it felt like you were watching marketing and not entertaining TV, and it was around then that they started playing less music and more shite.
