My mom went to high school with Pedro and were both in the same year. She remembers him in the hallways and they did some night school together also prior to graduation. I remember her telling me his story years ago, I’m glad that it was featured on here.

His GF brought him on the show (and it actually appears he was a cheater), but sadly when he finally seemed to come around and be faithful, he died suddenly of stomach problems. I never forgot that episode and my heart still aches for his GF and Mom... I hear they became close after that. I didn't forget him ladies, he seemed like a great person all things considered. RIP. 🙏

I know nothing matters to todays generation pre 2015, but that timeframe was very relevant for my life, and I remember all the lives lived and lost during this time. Im sure there are others, sorry I can't remember more than these two at the moment. RIP to them and anyone I may have missed from this area (I think there was one more lady from the early 90's real world).🙏

@@zsariah858 it definitely did, which is understandable I've lost friends and family in really tragic ways, it's not somthing that you ever truly get over and when you use substances to deal with all of that it only makes it harder, just wish he'd channel that energy and grief into somthing positive in Ryan's memory instead of wasting away until the drugs and alcohol finally take him too. He needs serious help, but he has to want it first unfortunately.

I remember watching Pedro Zamora on the real world I may have been like 9 or 10 and a quote he said on the show stuck with me. That quote was " I am a person living with AIDS and I'll be living with AIDS until I take my last breath." He just was so tenacious full of life and wanting to educate people about AIDS in a time where people weren't educated about it and dispelling the many false things spread about it.
