He won’t be able to get insured unless it’s like £2000. I’m 31 with the same car and it costs me £350 a year, 10+ no claims. Nice of them to do it but it’s just going to sit and rot in the driveway most likely as he won’t be able to afford to use it. Tax is £360 a year, about £160 to fill it up with petrol for about 250 miles

Thats a car swap if ever i saw one, one does not simple swap out the n/a for a tt engine on these, as well as install the tt dashboard, the active areo that wasn't available on the n/a and somehow fit a very suspiciously factory looking sunroof, one might say its easier to pimp out an already twin turbo a pretend its the original car. - but thats showbiz :D glad to see the show back!

Beautiful car, one of the best JDMs for sure. Aside from the numbers no longer matching, it's worth a decent amount, and you'd have never got that level of fit and finish doing it yourself, so the more powerful engine is worth the trade off of the numbers not all matching. I doubt even purists will mind the engine upgrade to be fair. It's a legit block still. Proper showcar now though, congrats. I'm chuffed to see it on the road and not in a scrapyard. Too many iconic cars have already gone that way in favour of planned obsolescence and battery contracts. I'd rather see classics on the street any day of the week!
