No? It showed that Abigail was evil. The poster shows that. The name shows that. When you watch a movie called Star Wars, you expect a war in space. Just because you know an aspect of the movie doesn’t mean they can’t build up to it

@@jaycemcqueen306 Yeah but Star Wars begins with a battle in Space. Abigail isn’t revealed to be evil until an hour into the film, and it comes off like a shocking twist. Also, the title doesn’t out her as evil, only that she’s a key component in the story. I still enjoyed the movie very much, but it would have been more shocking if the advertisements kept the vampire angle a secret…🤔

@@patrickriley674I totally get wanting to keep the vampire aspect out of the trailer but if they kept that out there would be hardly any scenes to use in the trailer and the trailer would have made the movie to simply be about a group of criminals who kidnapped a random girlI think if they had done that people would not have given the movie a chance because it would have seemed boring

@@codyvanklompenberg6878 I know. I guess I kinda wished they took the Barbarian route. I saw the trailer for that movie and had no idea of what the horror was in that movie when I went to see it. Maybe if they were able to hint at the horror, and even keep the whole “I’m sorry for what’s about to happen to you “ line in, hinting that Abigail knows about what’s really going on in that house…🤔 The way it played out in the movie, Abigail’s true nature almost played out like a big twist. I kind of wished I was able to experience it as one. 🤷‍♂️ Either way, I still enjoy it 🙂
