they let both her guard open when they kick and catch, result first they get the kick crashing in the rips, than they catch it to late. they need more bong sao, defending and catching at same time (no kritik, just what i see, it was entertaining to watch)

To observe, its forbidden to go forward holding the catched leg more than 2 steps. So if you dont manage to use the situation uou must usually let the leg go. [ps Its possible this rule is used only in Thailand]

@@OmegaChoad No confusion, but its possibly enforced only in Thailand. They had a fighter whom was renown for using and probably even misusing this trick, and this caused them to specifically make the rule. Ah, so you tell me this rule isnt observed outside Thailand? OK.

Yes, they kick slowly because its sparring. BUT. Very probably the catching of kicks and sweeping is exactly what they are training in this session. Because good and quick sweeps are extra important in Thailand, as the thai ref is quick to break off a catched leg.
