Master A is a super nice guy and one of the greatest I`ve ever trained with. A real teacher of the `art and a pleasure to be around, & with no ego!

Jason Harrison Could not agree more, I would recommend anyone to go and train at his gym in the North West of England (Manchester to be precise!). Thanks for your kind comments!

My coach taught me that left foot on the front and right foot on the back as the fighting, is it okay if right foot over left foot ?
@warriorcollective9 жыл бұрын
ROHVILLARIN It is fine either way, most instructors demonstrate just one way to save time, simply just reverse the sequences when changing stances!

I really really hate padwork...esp.those boxing ones b/c you always have to keep you hands up high and you throw from the tight guard and you throw those short hooks. It was making me into a robot...

how'd you mean? thanks

my coach wants me left foot forward but I want right foot forward which I can do both! i think he don't want to reverse his sequence lol
@SamusLovesMilk8 жыл бұрын
+Emmanuelle Catubig If you're left handen, then you should have your right foot at the front. If you're right handen, the left foot should be at the front.

Once you have got used to striking in the "proper" stance you can experiment and begin switching stances.

She looks very strong and probably hits hard. But she's loading up and telegraphing way too much because she's trying to hit hard.

***** I get where you are coming from as to how it looks but you have to remember she was exaggerating the mechanics for the sake of the tutorial, I am sure she does not do this when sparring/competing. Somapat would soon let her know if that was the case. Thanks for watching and commenting, I am glad you enjoyed it

hey is she a southpaw? i feel confused while watching this lol
@warriorcollective7 жыл бұрын
I actually don't think she is a Southpaw but a lot of students who train Muay Thai do often comfortably switch leads, that may be what is confusing.

I'm smart but I can never figure out how to hit pads...so I just train myself...it's easier that way.
@warriorcollective9 жыл бұрын
megasif until you have found someone who is a great pad holder you may not realise just how amazing this type of training can be. My advice would be to go out there and find some good people to train with! Training on your own is obviously excellent but there are always going to be limitations to development without the influence of other people
