I cant act like Im fine when Im so exhausted I can barely stand. Is vomitting ok in Thai gyms? Is it like no no, or do they show thumb up if you vomit?

Honestly a really good question. First off, try and pace yourself as much as possible. You’re gonna be working hard obviously, but it helps if you control the rhythm during pad rounds. They’ll often try to burn you out but you can take little moments to make sure your balance is right, and the timing is right before throwing your strike. They’ll actually respect you more for being confident in moving at the correct time, rather than just rushing through the combos. I haven’t seen anyone throw up from exhaustion during a MT workout, but I know it happens. If it was me, I would just slip off to the bathroom, yak, and come back out and pretend nothing happened 😂 assuming you’re not feeling completely dead by that point. If you’re honestly feeling super sick, just take a break. No one is gonna hate you for it. Worst case, they’ll tease you a bit. The Thais love to make fun of people, but they do it in a lighthearted way as opposed to being malicious. They also enjoy a little humor back-forth so don’t be shy to show your personality a bit

Oh, also if you need to catch your breath when you’re super exhausted, put your hands up over your head to open up your lungs a bit…it’ll help. Also, I recently made a video with a breathwork routine that may help you open those lungs up in advance

Thank you for detailed answer. I actually watched that breathing video. Ive trained judo, krav maga and now karate is my main thing. Im coming to Thailand in Dec and I checked some MT gyms since there are no karate clubs where Im going, going to stay there few months.@@skyhookschool
