It was really a weird reaction video. They start out by introducing the group with ridiculously fake negativity that runs opposite to the views of the vast majority of people regarding BM's live vocal and performance skills. Even the hater talking points from the "rivals" (mainly HYBE fans) aren't saying those things. But I decided to watch the whole reaction to see if they could redeem themselves by actually doing a decent reaction. Sadly, they spent most of the reaction just talking over the music and talking over the singing. And most of the talking had nothing to do with the singing or rapping. Just random comments about colors and outfits. They obviously didn't even have any intention to listen much. And they even completely deleted Rami's last major part (one of my favorite parts) for some reason. I think the only place where they even commented on the music was when Ahyeon hit her super high notes. Probably because it's so hard to ignore. Even then all they said was "vocals" and "wow". Makes me feel like agreeing with some of the comments that question whether they're on HYBE's payroll. LOL.

They have never been criticized for their live performances or their vocals. In fact, people consider them to be one of the groups with the best vocals and stage presence in general and the best of the fifth generation and everyone says their songs sound even better live. The criticism towards the sound of their songs was mostly only in the first song they released, because the haters, not the fans, tried to discredit everything they do (and as you know, haters are always sooo loud, even if it's just one compared to millions of fans), and said that they sounded like blackpink, but it's not that they sounded like blackpink , they sounded like YG, the company to which they belong, to which Blackpink also belongs, and that company has a very marked sound identity, which is why their groups can remind other groups of the company, but they still have a different sound. And for example, babymonster reminds me more of 2ne1 than blackpink. Oh and also, people, whether they are his fans or not, always say "with babymonster, you can criticize whatever you want, but you can't deny his talent". and the criticism they received for their performances was because they did it so well and many people were jealous, since that happened at the same time that many groups began to be criticized for not singing live. so they took it as an offense that the girls start singing live everywhere (which I don't understand why that would be a bad thing). If you ever want to see a live performance, I recommend the presentation they did at the 2ne1 concert when they opened their concert, it's recent and it's good.

I honestly dont think they’ve been ever criticized for the live vocals if anything people say that their songs sound better live than on the recorded track. They did get criticized a bit bc they started emphasizing their live talent right around the time there was a major controversy regarding live vocals in kpop so some people (especially fans of certain attacked groups) felt that they were almost rubbing it in people’s faces, and others tried to say that they were “over-performing” and that they tried to turn music shows into Coachella. The only other criticism that some people have had regarding their lives is that some people didnt love the tone of Ahyeon’s high note but thats honestly subjective and she hits it consistently every single time so thats another point to their live consistency. In fact, the girls often improv the notes of their lines and make them even better (cough cough Rami), but thats why in Drip during Asa’s rap she says “the rest confess we blessed” bc the major criticism Baemon receives is that they’re too talented for the songs YG gives them like even if people dont like them very rarely will anyone critique their talent itself. Definitely check out songs like Billionaire and Love Maybe (!!) from this album for the vocals and other songs Dream and Stuck in the Middle which are super vocal heavy. Also recommend checking out some of their live stuff (even just from their concerts) if you want to see their live talent

TBH, I don't think they care. The introduction comments were weird...like they either just made up some negative comments or asked someone at HYBE to give them some ridiculous negative talking points that have no connection with reality. That was weird enough. But then the "reaction" was just as weird. They didn't even listen to the song, preferring instead to talk over pretty much everything.
