This is so SAD....... This is the legacy their father left behind. Robert DeBarge Senior was blessed with a beautiful wife who taught and who brought out their childrens GREATEST gifts of praising The Lord through song. Some of us were able to witness their extrodinary talents through Switch, and DeBarge only to have their lives ripped apart by addiction. Their father mentally, physically, and sexually abused them. Their demons run deep because of this man! Makes me really think about the legacy I want to leave behind because this is certainly NOT IT! Rest In Power Tommy De Barge

My ❤️ broke when my daughter told me you passed on. To Tommy… I have the memories of a you not many knew in a time & place not many shared when we were all so very young & life was still fresh & new. Yea, I remember u. Your hair so long Your mustache so cool the cigarette smoke Would blow right through. you’d sit strumming out a song & we’d all gather around u, as if we’re at the beach sitting around a campfire not in the living room. Yea, I remember u though I was young I knew that laid back coolness was real And u & Ducky’s (RIP) sweetness added to the beautiful atmosphere we could all feel.
