When I watched the movie Bobby Debarge I was shocked that this was kept secret, how badly they were abused physically, sexually and mentally by their dad! People forget we are not to judge. Whatever happened in her situation back then is between her and God. If she felt any guilt I know in my heart she has asked God to forgive her. Being a black woman during that time was not easy especially if you were married to a white man. My heart goes out to the DeBarge Family as the Promise of Eternal Life has been fulfilled in the arms of the Lord for Tommy. In the end here, that's the only thing that matters. El is such a sweet soul that his tears made me cry too. I saw who I think is Tommy's son cross the camera (he looks just like him). I'm subscribed to that young man's wife's channel (Brennae) on youtube. She did confirm they're DeBarge. They're a great family & their toddler son is beyond adorable! They're a part of a Legacy that thus far has touched 5 generations that Brother Tommy helped start. The young man is also a musician & his wife, a singer. It's so good to also see James looking/doing well. I hope the outpouring of Love, Support, Memories & Encouragement for the Future will ease their pain & that the Holy Spirit will rest on them to bring comfort to all of the family, esp. Mother DeBarge. No more worries Mother. Jesus got him!🙏🏻❤🙏🏻

Hallelujah! I also love and thank my beautiful black queen mother, 86 years young and strong in the Lord who also raised her 8 children (I'm the 8th) in the nurturing and admonition of the Lord. This is my 3rd brother who has passed on with the 2nd passing just a little over 2 years ago but God! My deepest condolences go out to the Debarge family. Even in sad times of loss of a sibling/family member, the love of this family is strong. Their mom looks good. And the Debarge children look good too. This family has been through some hard difficult times. But the love of God keeps them together. No one deals with the pain alone. May Tommy rest in peace. Honor thy mother and a father that thy days on this Earth may be long. The fact that they forgave and still honor their mother I know that has to have a lot to do with why they are alive and well to this day. This family has survived so much and many years of trauma, it is just sooo good to see them still praising the Lord, I recognize it doesn't have to be this way. Young Tommy knows what real joy and happiness is. Blessed
