I agree I had a pair in the camo but the legs are much tighter on those for some reason then the brown ones. The brown ones weren't available for the same price so I returned them and got Cabela boots. But next year I'm getting the Brown Arctic Pro. They are the most comfortable boots I ever put on my feet. I did use them all through deer hunting. GREAT boots.

Good video, reaffirms my choice. Just got these in the mail today. Very nice walking around inside and trying on with various socks. Tip that helps me: always wear a tight liner sock under other socks. It drastically increases comfort and prevents blisters. I can't believe I just started doing this this year. It's a game changer. In fall, I wear two pairs of liner socks instead of 1 pair of mid-weight socks. Also, a boot dryer is key to boot longevity and lack of odor. Just throw any boots you wear out on the dryer that evening. Makes a huge difference.

Muck Arctic Pros are what I've used for the past 3 years. I was calves deep in a freezing creek in the 20's just last week and I was good. I use them on every hunt. I just got a pair of ActicShield boot covers for those times that I've had to remain still while on hunts. Other than that, Carhartt Arctic wool socks were the norm, but I'm moving to Darn Tough socks from now on. I just picked up a pair of RedHead hunting boots for warmer days and a lot of trekking & scouting. But I'm going to get a pair of Arctic Pros in full camo too. As for sizing on the Mucks, I would suggest sizing up 1/2 or a full size to accommodate for the use of thicker wool socks and I always take a pair of camp shoes (slip on boots) for just hanging around the campfire to allow for the Mucks to air out and not be my only-use boots.

I just bought Muck Arctic Pro for working outside in the winter at a local winery. We are pruning now , and there is standing water all over. Hoping these work good in standing water , and keep my feet warm. I have been using Muck Wetland and those do not keep my feet warm even in temps of the 30’s. .

Been wearing muck boots for years and love them. They do make your feet sweat though. Recommend a boot dryer especially if you wear them every day. Also slick on the bottom when new. Be careful on a wet or frosted back porch. I put new ones on and scuff them on pavement pretty good.

Muck boots are great boots, I also have them but the military white or black Mickey Mouse boots are by far the best, while in the military I wore my white ones daily for weeks in extreme cold conditions....

I wear my Arctic Muck Boots 12 to 14 hours a day for about 6 months out of the year. Here in Wyoming it's frequently 10, 20, 30 below zero. I have to agree with the video my Muck Boots are some of the most comfortable I've ever owned. For the Mickey Mouse comment I saw in the comment section, I wore Arctic Mickey Mouse boots can the army, and I'll take my mucks over those any day.

pro tip: roll/fold the tops down and you can put them on and take them off hands free and it prevents your pants from bunching when you tuck them in because you just fold the boot back up. I'm on my second pair of arctic pros, they are awesome.

Ordered a pair of Muck Arctic Pro boots size 10. My feet fit comfortably in a size 10 but this boot is a little tight especially around the heel. The boots are very heavy and since the foam is so thick they are too stiff for walking. Going to return them.

Well done Ben. This style of boot is the best option for cold weather camping. I've got a similar near knee high boot with fleece lining. Not "tacticool" but like you said "you're not thinking about your feet"! Great video.

lol the water is not frozen and I don't see ice around you! I live in canada, Alberta and in -27 with two thermal socks on, my toes were frozen in the boots. its good when you are walking but when not moving, good luck

These boots are way to expensive for their expected lifespan. I don't know anyone at work (we all wear rubber boots all day everyday) that uses mucks, and if they do, its usually a new guy who quickly learns that they don't last long, especially when worn everyday. Everyone I know and work with wears Lacrosse brand boots, and I know guys there who have worn the same pair every single day for over 8 years that have never cracked or leaked. You will never see an 8 year old muck boot that isn't leaking or the sole falling right off it. If you want to look pretty walking through the woods 2 or 3 times a year, buy Mucks. If you want to wear those boots everyday, for 11 hours a day standing in sewage water doing pipe work and not buy new boots every 6 months, buy Lacrosse's, and I have found that Muck's are even more expensive than Lacrosse's. Just my .02

Finally found the comment I was looking for. I try to use mine in the winter in North Dakota and if it’s not the cold that gets to my feet it’s the snow that melts and soaks my feet with muck boots. Had 2 new pairs last winter and both leak fully from ether splitting by the toe from where it bends or the soles come off. I’m trying to search for a better option and finally found one.

Your toes always get cold first, so why only 2 mil in the bottoms, and 8 up around the calves. They got it turned around the wrong way..

So I bought the Arctic pros a couple weeks ago and wore them hunting. It was 10-20° F and i my feet were in snow for 8 hours. My feet were freezing after the first few hours. I had two pairs of wool socks on. Would my feet really be warm in any boots in that situation?

Double socks may have been the problem. You need your body heat to circulate. Sitting still for any period of time is tough. My feet get cold as well no matter which boots I wear when I’m in my stand for hours.

Nick muck boots suck. Especially if you have steel toe. I have the Arctic pro as well and it was 8° last night at work. My feet were frozen. They say rated for -60. But it’s bullshit. I have a pair of Justin’s boots 400 grain Thinsulate. And they keep my feet warmer then the muck boots. Sucks when you spend $180 on winter boots. And there no good. Edit - if I stay another winter I think I’m gonna try Baffins.

How'd these hold up so far for u? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews related to these boots falling apart prematurely, the rubber flaking off ect. The durability is the only thing keeping me from grabbing a pair.

That’s because they are steel toe. The steel gets cold and stays cold. My regular arctic pros always keep my feet toasty down to at least 0F.
